My sim's dog that he's had since he was a puppy died last night in the middle of his bachelor party. I've never had a sim (human or animal) die from natural causes before, and it was awful! Completely killed the party mood, that's for sure.

The wedding one is very sad :(. I had a legacy with an adult, he became rich, married, etc. He had a daughter. His wife died of old age, then the next day, the daughter (YA) was killed by a meteor and then he died a few days later of old age!

One of the worse things...my sim had just married Mathew Hamming in Bridgeport, he was a vampire. He woke up the very next morning and burned to a crisp right by the bedside (never knew if it was hunger or the sun). But luckily I had the game backed up so I just reloaded.

Meteor again.

My hubby sim rolled the wish to catch all types of fish so I was micro managing him as he changed baits etc., while wife sim was in the library with twin toddlers, child and teen.  I queued up teaching toddler 1 to walk then talk while toddler 2 play the peg board...  Child Sim was reading the logic book and teen was reading the handiness book just in case he had to fix the boiler at school.  I did this so I could change baits for hubby.   I should have watched the Library and let hubby catch infinite amount of blowfish!  The meteor hit the library and killed all inside.

To Noodles:

Something similar happened to me (a babysitter stole the baby!)  Does the lost baby show up in the family portrait? If so, go into edit town, then click ur active household.   If the baby shows up, move the whole family to the clipboard, then return them to their home.  The baby should show up as a part of the active household once you switch back to Live Mode. Hope this helped!

I placed my self-sim in Twinbrook, so she could wander around and let Story Progression take her on a path while I played another family. She ended up marrying and having several children with the divorced Skeet Bayless.

Though having a family call a repairman to repair quite a few broken things, only for him to die from electrocution while working on their stereo, is a close second.

The repairman electrocuted himself in your game?  Wow, I've never heard of that happening before.  My repairpeople never were electrocuted. Don't the repair people have 10 skill in handiness?

It was a repairman in Bridgeport named Ned Mason. I looked him up on the Sims Wiki, and apparently he doesn't have any skill points in handiness. Methinks he landed the wrong job.

Good night, sweet prince. :'(

I also think I remember my sims fines for blowing things up adding up to about 14,000$,  He almost couldn't pay them.  Of course, that was my cheat file, so, yeah, he could definatly pay them, but still, that's a lot of money!

That's really pretty sad.  It doesn't seem right for the game to put him in a job where he's almost certain to fail.  But no Sim could have had a nicer epitaph than the one you gave him:

Good night, sweet prince. :'(
