How do you guys use your video camera?

Hi everyone!

I was curious and wondering how do you guys put a use to the new video camera of Generations.

For me,I usually make a video of whole family sitting formally dressed, standing beside the oldest generation who is sitting on couch. I do this for every generation of my family. After that, whenever the family has time from their schedules, they sit together and watch the film. I have WA now, but sometimes it is good for sims to see the video of their ancestors.

Another thing I do is usually make clips of toddlers and kids playing and they watch them once they are adults. It must surely give them a good feeling, to know how great their childhood was.

What video camera are you talking about?

The video camera that comes in Generations expansion, with which you can take in-game videos and have your sims watch them on TV. 

You can get it in Electronics category --> Miscellaneous tab.

I use the camera to captre all the major events in my families life.

I like getting videos of the toddlers learning walking, talking and potty training. I also like zooming in when the kids put on their costumes and play pretend.
