Best Thing To Ever Happen While Playing Sims

Once I was playing Sims. My lovely couple got married, and as good guests do, I received gifts. Now, my Sims didn't know a lot of people, maybe 5 residents in the whole town. Co-workers from the diner, their parents, and children were the jist.
They went to get their mail and I received the jet statue as a wedding gift that sold for around $75,000. Best day to play Sims.

And I thought I was lucky by getting that fancy fountain worth 50k! It was especially odd, as they were the only household in that world and they got the gift from...other household members.

I didn't question it.

It was just so shocking, especially since it was toward the beginning of the game and I didn't think Jared Frio or Emma Hatch could afford such an expensive wedding gift. Haha.

I'm envious that you're actually receiving wedding gifts.  Everyone I know that has patched up to the Showtime no longer receives them.

Of course, the best wedding gift I ever got was the fountain of youth from a horse.  I think the fountain is worth §450,000.

I never got Showtime, mainly because I didn't want it. This happened a while ago too.

What kind of plants did they grow?

I think the other most memorable moment was when my I left my game running and my husband was inventing things. I was gone away from my computer for maybe 30 minutes, I came back to find he had caught on fire, curled up in the floor, and died.
So I thought nothing of it, I just reloaded from my last save. I make him go outside to feed the horses and then a meteor crashes right on him, he catches on fire again, and dies. I laughed so hard.
My game didn't like that character apparently.

I have never had a special seed with more than §90 or there abouts and I've gotten a lot of special seeds.  Gigantic Space rocks I've had up to 40k though!  Imagine having a little puppy bringing one of those home.

I wasn't talking Showtime I was talking the 1.31 patch that came out the same week as Showtime.

They patch with every release of an EP or SP.  Like the small patch we got last week because Sweet Treats came out.  I play the challenges so I have to keep my game patched up to the latest and greatest.

 My sim was in Eygpt, collecting some gems for a mission.  Then he wondered why the sky got so dark.  Unfortuently, I wasn't paying attention and  didn't  see it impact. (I missed my first meteor )
My sim analyzed it when he returned to base camp for the night, and it was worth more than 40,000 simoleons!

I wonder what would of happened if that meteor had hit him.  He was on vacation alone, but he had a family back home.

Hm. That's something to try out. Maybe you could take an old person and "trigger age transition".

That's not normal for the game.  Where did your get them?
