"It was all carefully calculated"?! How about an alarm clock next time, A.?  :P

Like Roxanne said, that was quite a bit of commotion for what could have been solved with a simple alarm clock. :P

Yes, but that would be boring.  :P

And that A - he looks so innocent but is truly diabolical.  What will he think of next?

Well, I've run out of the challenges I had pre-planned, so I actually need to don my thinking cap again for the last two challenges. What to do, what to do...

Carrots is no longer a table lamp.  She's moved on to become an overhead light, watching over the remaining Mole contestants.  ;)

An alarm clock has an alarm, it just isn't as startling! And it's a bit cheaper, A, you may want to consider buying one.  ;) And it isn't boring, you can paint it hot pink and electric blue to make it interesting!
Bye Carrots, we will miss you.

Oh and...

5. The true meaning of life is 73. 73 is the 21st prime number. If you switch the digits, it becomes 37, the 12th prime number. The factors of 21 are 7 and 3.  In Binary, 73 is a palindrome. (1001001) Of the 7 binary digits that represent 73, 3 are ones. Such a set of coincedences cannot have been left up to chance. It is clearly a sign from the heavens that 73 is the meaning of life!

To put it scientifically, it's the 21st prime, the previous is 71 with which it comprises a twin prime. It's a permutable prime with 37, and also a star number. It's the largest minimal primitive root in the first 100000 primes. It's also the smallest prime congruent to 1 modulo 24. It's an emirp. The mirror of 73, the 21st prime number, 37, is the 12th prime number. The number 21 includes factors 7 and 3. Seventy-three in binary, 1001001, is a palindrome. In addition, of the 7 binary digits representing 73, there are 3 ones. Also, 37+12=49 (seven squared) and 73+21=94=47*2, 47+2 also being equal to seven squared. Additionally, both 73 and its mirror, 37, are sexy primes twice over, as 31, 43, 67 and 79 are all prime numbers. The square root of 73 is 8.544. The sum of which (8+5+4+4) equals the product of 7 and 3; 21. Every positive integer can be written as the sum of 73 or fewer sixth powers. In base 5, the smallest prime with a composite sum of digits is 73. 73 is the only prime repunit in base 8 (1118). 73 is the smallest factor of the first composite generalized Fermat number in base 10 (104+1 = 10,001 = 73*137). It was featured in the 73rd Big Band Theory episode. And finally, in morse code, 73 is a palindrome (--... ...--). Thank you Wikipedia! So in the words of Leonard Hofstadter, 73 is the Chuck Norris of all numbers.

I think if the remaining contestants want to keep up with A and his fiendish plans, they'd better make sure their shoes are running shoes!  ;)

Oh ho, clever!   ;D

So if Carrots and Sstarr are so clever, why is it that they were the first contestants to be eliminated?  Can the lady of the lamp shed any illumination on that point, Carrots?

Carrots and Sstarr wanted to make the most of their 15 minutes of fame that being on a show like the mole brings. Sstarr is making money of her shoe endorsments and Carrots is touring the country doing a book tour. Her book called Iluminating the Mole is a best seller.
When Nick gets down to earth he will be selling the film rights to his alien abduction experience and there could be a celebrity romance with Sstarr on the cards. Some might call it a showmance though.
As for Martin he has got his own chat show on prime time television,he did like to talk alot.

The Fifth Challenge: Setup

After some brainstorming with my consultants, (read: Schipperke and ratchie) I've formulated the Fifth Challenge for you. This time, however, I've added a new dynamic: The readers are going to help you!

Let me explain. I will give each of you a hint of a member here you need to PM. (I'll tell you who the helpers are, though I won't tell you the one you need first.) You will PM them and ask for their information. They are to tell you two things: The name of a collection group, and the name of the next helper. However, they will most likely not tell this to you head-on, instead imparting their knowledge cryptically. It's up to you to to figure out what they mean!

Once you have the four collection group, your job is to collect them, gather them up, and get a screenshot of you and your collections. You may have a total of 5 items in each collection group. Each item in a collection group is worth 1 point. If you get 5 items in every collection group, you'll earn 20 points. Therefore, 80 points are possible here.

Of course, there are many things that could go wrong here that will cost you points, including an Exemption! So keep on your toes, collect just as many items as you want, and have at it! The four helpers I've recruited are Seabody, SadieHamming, the sweetest pea, and Gogowars329. Each hint below point to one of these helpers, though it's up to you to figure out which one. I also need a number between 1 and 4 from each of you, with no overlapping numbers.

Bo: NaNoWriMo
Aaron: Matthew
Jordan: Rainbow
Autumn: Creeping Cat

Good luck to the four contestants!  I know I was in on some of the discussion regarding this challenge, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start!  Probably that's why Sstarr and I were eliminated right off the bat.   ;)

Can't wait to see how this Challenge progresses.
