The Third Challenge Setup
I finally got my ideas for the Third Challenge all sorted out, so now you guys get to hear about it. Each contestant will have 3 tasks to complete. Each completed task will award 5 points. However, there is a kicker: You will not work alone! Contestants will be broken up into pairs (and one group of 3) and assigned their 3 tasks. If the group can collectively accomplish these tasks, then their points are added. If not.... let's just say the Mole will walk away with some more points in their pocket!
Therefore, the contestants need to break themselves up into groups. So, I'd like you to sort yourselves into two groups: Puzzle and Sim. A Puzzle Contestant is well-versed in riddles and, well, puzzles. They have confidence in their ability to solve those brainteasers we all grew up with. A Sim Contestant, however, has great knowledge of the Simverse. They know the workings of the Sims 3: Sims, Houses, and who knows what else! Obviously, I can assume everyone here could be a Sim Contestant, (we
are on a Sim forum, after all) but if you also are confident in your puzzle-solving, mark yourself as a Puzzle Contestant. Your group is due by Wednesday; if I don't get a group from you, I'll assign you to the group I need you in.
After the contestants are sorted, I'll pull one from each group to be a team, which will then receive their tasks. You and your partner must work together to solve these tasks. But remember, the Mole will be out there, trying to sabotage the tasks. And perhaps someone else will do the same, in an attempt to trick others into thinking they are the Mole themselves. A. Simself wishes you luck, but regrets that he cannot be here to give you your assignment himself. He received a gift in the mail, and wants to try them on.
(Just a reminder: Finding the identity of the Mole is important, but so is ensuring that others don't. Non-Mole players are allowed, and encouraged to, sabotage the tasks in order to deceive the other contestants. Keep this in mind as you complete the Third Challenge)
