Where is A going in the dead of night?  What is A up to?  Why is A dressed like Batman?

Enquiring minds want to know:

Where is A. Simself going?!

Oh, the suspense!

... Please, please don't keep us waiting too long!

The Fourth Challenge

(-Due to a combination of forgetfulness and game issues, I don't have any screenshots of the contestants actually going to Challenge Site. My apologies.)
(-Edited to correct a rather glaring error on my part. My apologies for screwing that up.)

A: Welcome to the Fourth Challenge, contestants! Don't mind the construction work, that'll be taken care of.

Autumn: Don't mind the construction work? What is all this stuff?
Aaron: Is that our next task? "The Fourth Challenge, Where the Mole hauls around furniture?"
A: Not quite.

A: The sofa I am currently sitting on used to be part of a larger room. I have split this room into 4 slices. 4 of you will get a picture of this slice and must describe it in as much (or as little) detail as desired. The fifth contestant will then use these description, along with the furniture on the lot, to recreate the room. If a slice matches exactly to the slice in the recreated room, 20 points are earned. However, if even one detail is off, the entire 20 points are forfeited. Since there are 4 slices, 80 points are possible. Now, who will be our builder?

Jordan: I'll do it. I've got muscles. I could lift anything here.
A: Hmm. The rest of you will find your slice picture behind you. Write your descriptions, then give them to our macho friend Jordan over here.

(-Italicized below are the descriptions the Describers sent to samoht and I. They are also loaded with sabotage. I'm not surprised the samoht had such a hard time with this.)

Aaron: Hey Here's my description. I hope it's good, but it's definitely better than if I was building.

It's the right side of the room. In the top left corner there is a sofa/couch, not sure if two-seater or three-seater, also I'm sorry but I've no idea what kind. My game is misbehaving at the moment for even if I wanted to check. It's covered in a red small polka-dots pattern. In front of the sofa/couch is a coffee table. The one with a piece of glass on the surface. It looks like a beech wood pattern. Standing on the table-top is the vase with the daffodils(I think that's what they are.) There is also the decor piece of the magazine stack to the left of the vase. Placed underneath the sofa/couch and table is a carpet/rug. It has a red floral pattern. In the top right corner I can see the bottom of a white floor lamp. Beside/in front of it is an armchair, the cozy comfortor one, I think that is what it is called, in the default colour.
And that's all I can see  ;)

Carrots: To the left of the sofa(as the player is looking at the screen) is a dolls house. It is cream and beige with a floral pattern on the outside of the house. The flora pattern is usually a lilac colour when you go to CAP and is found under themes.
The dolls house is placed one square away from the sofa.
The dolls house is on a diagonal with one corner level with the door, the right front corner of the dolls house is level with the rug.
The rug is placed underneath the spotted sofa and is decorated with a birds and flowers pattern.
Directly infront and level with the sofa is a coffee table. Its a pale beech colour and it looks cheap the top of the table looks see through.
There is a black games console on top of the table. It is level with the left of the table and the sofa.
The coffee table is one square back from the edge of the rug.

Autumn: "There is a blue polka dot couch on the floor. ( surprise :P ) At the left, there is a Sunny brook home next to the door. There is a hanging flower basket on the wall above the dollhouse and a dancing bunny at the right, above the couch. The door is quite aDoorable, I think."

Bo: Alright, everything is pretty blue. This part of the room is to the right of the couch, right how we see it. In front of the couch, to the far right of it but still in front of it is a vase with some daffodils inside. It'll be on a table but I can't see the table. Next to the couch is a long floor light, yellow in colour but I think the actual light it's shining is blue. It's a modern light, so it's the shape of a cuboid on top of a smaller cuboid. To the right of that, I see the top of what looks to be a one-seater couch. It's like a rock-y grey colour? Back to the blue couch, just above that is the dancing bunny panting with a blue border. That painting is situated directly above the right half of the couch. The daffodils are directly underneath the far right of that painting.

A: The rest of you can go back home. Jordan, you have work to do.

Jordan: Well, both Bo and Aaron said they saw the Dancing Bunny, so that's probably in the room.

Jordan: And this light looks cube-like, so I'll put that in.

Jordan: Yellow daffodils. These must be the ones Bo and Aaron saw.

Jordan: A.
A: Yes, Jordan?
Jordan: I kind of need that dollhouse for the room.
A: Oh, very well. Rob a man of his fun, won't you?

Jordan: Here's the video game console, and I thik that might be the glass table over there, too. I'm on fire!
A: *laugh*

Jordan: What?
A: *smirking* Nothing...
Jordan: You know something I don't.
A: But of course! I know who the Mole is.  ;D
Jordan: Why do you have to be so evasive?
A: It's in the job description. *chuckle* Get it? Description?
Jordan: *sigh* I'll just take this chair over here. The brown one.

Jordan: I'm not seeing any birds, but those kind of look like flowers.

Jordan: And this is the door. It is aDoorable, isn't it? Now, just to put this room all together.

(-Below is the room that samoht sent me. He actually got most of the furniture right, despite the sabotage.)

A: Gather around, contestants! Now I'm about to show you the actual room. We'll get to see just how right Jordan was in his building, and the rest of you in your Describing.

(-In comparison, here's the actual room. As you can see, the two rooms are rather different, mostly in terms of placement. Whether that is the result of deceptive Describers, a sneaky Builder, a combination of both, or a [un]happy coincedence is for you to decide.)

A: Most of this slice is correct, save for two things. One, the door is not on a separate wall as Jordan depicted, but was part of the same wall. Second, the flower basket was the wrong type. The one in the room is a red flower basket hanging on the wall, not one attached to the ceiling. But even the smallest mistakes can cost the points, and 0 points are earned for this slice.

(-If the issue had just been the door, I would've given this the 20 points, since I didn't specify that everything was on one wall. The term "room" was a little misleading. Because of the flower, however, the points are lost.)

A: Unfortunately, there are more problems in this slice than a simple flower basket. First off, while the rug design is correct, the size is not. In addition, the dollhouse is farther away from the sofa than it's supposed to be. The video game console and the table are both accurate, however. Still partially right is not wholly right, and 0 points are earned for this slice.

A: This slice is also very close to being perfect. While the couch in your room is correct, the placement is not. The couch is closer to the sofa, and angled. The flowers are also not the right kind. The large yellow flowers in your room do not match the smaller yellow flowers in ours. The smallest mistakes can cost the slice, so 0 points are earned for this slice.

A: Finally, we come to Aaron's slice. Besides the chair and vase issue from Bo's slice, there is an additional mistake. Although Aaron said there was a magazine stack on the coffee table, there actually wasn't! Therefore, 0 points are earned for this slice.

A: So, all in all 0/80 points were earned in this Challenge. The Mole seems to have taken advantage of this Challenge to steal back some much-valued points. Tune in next time for the Execution Round! The contestants better get an early rest, because you never know what may be going on in the middle of the night...

(-Like I said near the beginning, this Challenge was practically built to be sabotaged. It's really not that surprising that so few points were earned this time around. I PMed this to the contestants before, but I still need Journals. I swear my cryptic reasons for them will be revealed in due time.)

I wonder who the Mole is. It's really interesting. They should make something like this in real life (if they already didn't).

That was fascinating!  I thought some of the descriptions were very detailed, but it's obviously really easy to get things wrong.  And trying to put together all 4 descriptions is very tricky indeed.  I thought the contestants did well, all things considered.

The set-up was great!  Kudos to A and his handlers for a very interesting challenge.

Jordan did well! It really does surprise me that no points were earned at all. I wish I had given more details...  ::)

Heey, I got the rug pattern right, just the wrong size, that and I don't see any birds on that pattern?!  :P It was fairly confusing and I mucked up on the flowers, I completely blanked what type of flower it was and just picked the only one with flowers that seemed right, Lol.

Carrots described her part of the room perfectly it is not her fault that some builders cannot follow simple descriptions properly. The dolls house was on a diagonal with its left edge level with the door,it is not Carrots fault if the door was in the wrong place. Okay so on closer inspection the rug hasn't got birds on it but those black squiggles look a bit like birds if you kind of screw your eyes up a little. If Jordon was any kind of a builder he would have know that was what Carrots meant.

If you ask me Jordon got things wrong on purpose to make us all look bad. Describers Rule and Builders Drool.

The size of the rug was the only thing wrong about the rug, A said I picked the completely different one.  :P If you ask me the look of items were well described but where things went was another matter.

*doink* I don't know how I missed that. Pretty embarassing that I made it such a big deal and was also completely wrong.  :-[ I'm editing it now. Thanks for pointing that out.

Well then I think A was being mean not giving any points for Carrots section. All the parts were correct just not in the right place. Okay so I know that the correct placement of parts is important for like a neurosurgeon but not for this task.

Part of the challenge was not only identifying the objects, but also placing them in the right place.

If it's any consolation, you will have a chance to earn some extra points before the Execution Quiz. I just need those journals. (Really trying not to sound like a broken record, but they really are important  :-\)
