Oh so that is what the numbers are all about I feel really silly now. I think I might go back to lamp watching now unless Sstarr needs some help fishing.

Rachel

There I was thinking the numbers were just the order our sims jumped in the time machine.. I'm going to go have a latte and then have a long, long lie down. :P

On the question of the exemption - in a sense, we all got an exemption this time because none of us had to leave the contest.  So I think it makes sense for Widonja to be able to use his exemption again.  But it would help to clarify if any subsequent exemptions will be reusable or not.  My understanding was that we would each get an exemption once during the contest and that we could use it any one time.  If that's incorrect, A, please let me know.

There I was thinking the numbers were just the order our sims jumped in the time machine..

That's what I thought too!

The Exemption you earn during a challenge is used for the quiz associated with that challenge. So, in a normal elimination, Widonja would've used his elimination for this quiz. Whoever gets the Exemption in the 2nd Challenge would use it in the 2nd Execution quiz.

That is true, but isn't it kind of wierd that nobody left so my exemption was kind of a let down?

Sstarr:  "A" gave us a freebie this time.   Why would he do that?  I think it means he likes us and doesn't want to see any of us leave.  Now, if I could only think of a way to turn that to my advantage ... I'll think about it at the fishin' hole.

In the original Mole (US), the exemptions were usually offered tied to a challenge, and in the second series, Elavia getting several exemptions led to her being offered $50,000 to leave. And I wouldn't say that the exemption was a letdown, it has prevented a -2 penalty and a much higher chance of walking on the next quiz!

Sstarr:   Who is the Mole?  (I won't tell)
Can I get an exemption? (I won't tell about that either)
A, where do you buy your shoes?
How come there's no fish in that fancy pool you gave us?
(I'm on a roll here) Would you care to explain the meaning of life?

I'm sure I'll think of more questions.  Give me a few minutes.

Had me laughing, I want to know where to buy those shoes too! Sure they may be a bit big, but who knows! Maybe they shrink in the wash....
And on the meaning of life,..........yeah, that's my second question too.

I can actually answer Sstar's questions!  :o

Who is the Mole?  (I won't tell)
Can I get an exemption? (I won't tell about that either)
A, where do you buy your shoes?
How come there's no fish in that fancy pool you gave us?
(I'm on a roll here) Would you care to explain the meaning of life?

1) The Mole.
2) There's one coming. There's always one coming. ;D
3) He buys them from a shoestore...
4) You're fishing in the wrong spot. Try nor-nor-west of your current preferred spot.
5) Contrary to popular belief, it's actually 24.

1. Sstarr, Carrots, Bo, Autumn, Aaron, Nick, Martin, or Jordan.
2. Potentially
3. SimMart
4. A. ate them all already.
5. The true meaning of life is 73. 73 is the 21st prime number. If you switch the digits, it becomes 37, the 12th prime number. The factors of 21 are 7 and 3.  In Binary, 73 is a palindrome. (1001001) Of the 7 binary digits that represent 73, 3 are ones. Such a set of coincedences cannot have been left up to chance. It is clearly a sign from the heavens that 73 is the meaning of life!

So SimMart and 73, I'm not even going to question 73 because it seems like you have all the logic written out.

Oh!  Words of advice from someone who sounds like he has a lot of experience fishing in a swimming pool!  Thank you, Seabody, I'll be sure to try that.  Let's see - which direction is nor-nor-west?  Uh-oh.  I think that puts me right in the deep end.
