Today I have finished Sunflower Hall, as it has just been dubbed. Here are some more screenshots. I had a lot of fun finishing this one, even though the creative process is quite taxing.

Downstairs:

Upstairs:

There is a second bathroom upstairs, but it is essentially the same as the downstairs bathroom.

Onto the City Hall lot to continue the restructure!

Here a a couple of overview shots of Cypress Lakes so far:

You'll notice that the school/stadium is not showing the new colour scheme - that is because I haven't edited the LOD _IMG for that one yet, so it shows up close, but not at a distance.

Hopefully making the lot large - 64x64 - and then creating the hill on the lot will solve the tearing issues I was having, due to it being on the intersection of all four chunks.

The town looks great and Sunflower Hall looks amazing. Combining the clubs and Showtime lots together is what I do so I think it's a great idea.

I really like the look of the town so far. Best of luck with working on the tearing issue.

This is a very nice town . You've done so much work in it and it all looks amazing . I think mixing the venues from Late Night and Showtime is a great idea . Good luck on your work !  :)

Wow Chuckles, I am in complete awe! This town is so beautiful, it looks like something EA would release but better. Your building skills are brilliant and I cannot wait to download this when it's finished. Good luck on the rest of the building. :)

Thank you everyone! Your continued feedback means a lot to me.

My current work in progress is one of the builds that I thought that I had lost. I had only really made the shell. I decided that it should go on a bigger lot, and gave it a 'double' garage. I still have to finish upstairs, and then I can take it in-game to get the inside screenshots, as the camera is not as versatile in CAW. I'm really happy with the downstairs. This house has a recreation room with pool table, dart board, bar etc. Hopefully there are no routing issues with the table, otherwise I may have to rethink it a little.

Thank you both :) Here is the rest of the house:

end chairs removed due to unroutable one by the archway

My pride and joy - all I need is a wall rack for the cues. Maybe University will come with some neat stuff I can use

I'm going to make a story for the sims of this household - the son has just come to live with the Dad, so the boxes are all his unpacked things.

I feel like the upstairs is a little unimaginative and... cold - but it is a bachelor pad so perhaps that is ok.

I love the whole house. The only problem I have is that the living rooms looks really empty. I think that maybe another couch or coffee table may be good. I must ask, is the dart board even usable by more than one Sim? The room with it looks too small for it to work.

I didn't think about testing it with more than one sim. With one sim it all worked just fine. I'll give it a go with 2 then, and add a bit more to the living room. Since I did that house earlier today, I went back to working in photoshop on my rabbitholes. As I mentioned, I screwed up on the theatre, and used the Supernatural one without checking that it worked, and also messed up my businesses to invest in ratio. Thankfully, the Wilsonoff is almost the same building, so here is all the small work done. I just have to do the hard part now: the LOD.

I decided to go with some custom posters :D Pretty Woman is my all-time favourite movie, but I couldn't think of a second favourite, so I went with Underworld Evolution.

=======================================================================================================================
Ok, the LOD is done, and I've also done the Film Studio. I didn't do much to it - just tidied it up - I replaced the shabby grey metal sheeting with the same blue that is on the top.

I've also made editing the LOD's a little easier. I took screenshots from all four sides of each building, and then adjusted the colour/lighting, and shape in photoshop, pasting in the relavant bits.

I love the new theater. I haven't seen a film studio in a while so I can barely remember what it used to look like but I much prefer it.
