Thanks again for the comments.  Like I said, I am having fun with this story.  Not sure if I want them to have anymore kids.  Once a file gets too big on my computer, it won't save anymore.  I have got to get some more memory.  I have been saying that for ages now, lol.  Not sute where this is going, but I just take pictures and build a story on that.  There is so many amazing stories on here, so between playing, writing and reading, it takes up almost all of my days off, lol.  Glad I don't have alot to do when I am off. :)

Chapter 20

The days sort of ran together, same thing, chores, homework and exercising the horses.  Fiona was sick again and the vet said he wasn't sure what the problem was.  She was an elder, but she still had a long time before it was her time.  I just loved her and cared for her and she seemed to do better when I was around.  I was actually thinking of putting the twin bed back in the barn where she slept, but decided the twins needed me also.  Dylan was having a blast with Harley.  He got her a tree house and after her homework was done, she would spend all evening in there.  She loved to pull pranks on her daddy too.  He acted like he was mad, but he could never stay mad at Harley.

Dylan knew better too, but he is such a good sport.

Then they would play tag until dark.  Those two were inseparable.

Dylan had a talk with Harley about the twins and was hoping she would not feel left out.  She told him, "how can I feel left out Daddy, we are together most of the time.  I know mommy is busy and I know she would play with me if the twins didn't take up so much of her time."  She was a truly smart and warm little girl, but I bet she will be a handful when she turns into a teenager.  We are giving our girls the option to do whatever they want.  We have money set aside if they want to go to college, or we will behind them if they want to continue with the horses.  Dylan had talked to Harley about that before.  She is too young to make up her mind now, but whatever she wants to do is fine with us.

I think she also mentioned she wanted to marry into royalty, but kids have to have imagination, so cute.

I had totally forgotten it was Dylan's adult birthday.  How could I have been so stupid.  I had it all planned out, we would go to our pier where we met and watch the stars and just be together,  Well, that didn't work out, he had his birthday in our back yard, not very exciting.  I told him I would make it up to him though.  I think even Dragon got in on his birthday, funny horse.

The next morning, just before dawn, I heard the horses.  I got up, I figured they were hungry.  Poor Fiona had passed on in the night.  All I could do was stand there and cry.  We put her head stone in the back yard where we could keep her close to us.  RIP Fiona Michaels...

Jersey was right by my side the whole time.  I am going to miss her terribly.  She had always been there for me and never had let me down.

I found Dragon and all I knew to do was ride until I couldn't ride anymore..... :'(

Chapter 21

I think my husband is having a meltdown.  First I was fixing dinner and saw him go to Fiona's gravestone and mourn, right along side of him was Dragon, as always, then, I went upstairs to tuck the twins in and Dylan was standing in the middle of the room crying.  I think we both need to get away from here.  I know I still missed Fiona, even though the days have flown by.

On a happier note, it was time for the twins to age to toddler.  Talk about our hands full.

Haley:

Heather:

What a handsome brood we have.  Now the fun begins with teaching to walk and talk and potty train.  I told Dylan that I thought three was enough, but I think deep down, he wanted a little boy.  Maybe, someday.  We actually started planning our trip to France.  As soon as the girls aged to youth, then we will go.  It won't be long now before Harley is a teen.  Now she wants to be a race car driver.

She is so funny.  She is always helping out and doing dishes or whatever else needs to be done.  I am still not a very good cook and seem to burn whatever I cook.  I think everyone is tired of Autumn Salad.  I don't blame them either.

Well, time for bed.  Dishes are done and the three little angels are tucked into bed.  Before bed, I couldn't help but peek in on the girls.  Harley and the twins looked so innocent.  I really haven't spent as much time with Harley as I should, maybe it is time for a girls day and daddy can watch the twins....

Chapter 22 - "Midlife Crisis"

And time moves on....

Dylan was just acting strange.  We were all in the yard and he got this wild hair to scare the dickens out of me.  I do not know where that came from.

Then the real icing on the cake, he bought a $100,000 red sportscar.  This is not acceptable.  This is something that should be discussed between us, but I guess he didn't care at the time.  His midlife crisis is getting out of control.

I tried to overlook all of these things, I have been trying to concentrate on the twins and making sure Harley does her homework.  Now I have four kids to look after.  Dylan also seemed to be staying gone longer when he went to the store.  I know I have to be patient with him, but something is going on, more than his midlife crisis.

I do believe little Haley looks like me too, but Heather looks like her dad, I think.

I ask Harley if she had made any friends at school, so she could invite them to her birthday party.  She said the only person she knew looked kinda funny and her eyes glowed.  I told her she could invite her if she wanted to and she told me, no, she would just rather have the family and of course, Honey.

A few nights went by and Dylan just took off, like a shot out of the house, without saying a word.  I got the kids to bed and decided to find out where he was.  There was only a couple of hangouts and a saloon in town and it would not be hard to spot that stupid red car.

Well, I found him the first try.  I went upstairs to the saloon and he was chatting with the bartender and from the looks of it, she was enjoying his conversation.

I had had enough.  This was going to stop or else.

"Sweetie, slow down.  I just needed to get away, that is all.  I am not interested in this woman.  I love you and only you."
"But why did you just leave the house and why have you acted so strange the last few months.  Don't my feelings matter to you anymore? I want the old Dylan back,*sniff sniff*.  Can we please go away together, please!"

"I tell you what, you make the arrangements and just let me know when, ok?"  He wrapped his arms around me and told me everything was fine.  But why did I have this feeling that things weren't fine......

Chapter 22 - "Harley becomes a teen"

After the fight, which actually was our first since being married", we laid in bed and talked for most of the night, discussing our trip and just idle chit chat.  We were hoping for good weather in France.

We finally fell asleep and the next morning, it was Sunday, the day I spent with Harley.  It was going to be her birthday in a couple of days and I had promised her a day with just the two of us.  It was a little later start than I had wanted, so went to brunch and movie.  We took Dylan's sports car and I have to admit, I really liked driving it.

After brunch, we sat outside and chatted for a bit.  The movie didn't start for a little bit yet, so it was nice just talking to Harley.  Now she said she wants to be a doctor, kids, go figure.

I asked her again, if she was sure she didn't want a birthday party and she said, maybe just one friend.

It was time for the movie, so we set out.  I don't think I have the hang of this car yet or I just don't know how to drive.  I ended up setting the car across the road, oh well, no one was paying attention.

It was a pretty good movie, Harley seemed to enjoy it.  After we came out, Harley put her arms around my neck and thanked me for a wonderful day.  She it so sweet.  I hope she is as good a teenager as a youth, one can only hope.

We returned home in the late afternoon, twins were playing and Harley went outside to spend time with Jersey and Dragon.  I had changed clothes and heard Dylan giggling in the kids room.  Not sure what he was laughing at, but at least it is better than crying.

Harley was so cute with the horses and they were so gentle with her, somehow knowing she was a little person.

We all pretty much, stayed outside alot.  It was so enjoyable. all of us doing different things.  These are the times I like to remember.  A few days later, it was Harley's birthday.  We got a cake and invited Honey and Harley had invited a little friend from school, funny, she brought her dad with her.  They were odd people, but seemed nice.

It is official, I do believe she looks like me.  I wasn't sure when she was a youth, but now I really see the likeness.

After we were all full on cake and the guests had left, Harley and Dylan spent some time talking and making faces at each other.  I am glad to see that they are still as close as they use to be.  Harley thanked Dylan for being a great dad and then said, "hey dad, how about giving me your car?" *snicker*
I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

Dylan seemed to be feeling better and I know I am the one that overreacts sometimes.  I am working on that, but Dylan is my whole world and I never want to be without him, ever.....

Chapter 23

It was time for Harley's first day of school as a teen.  I could tell she was nervous and apprehensive, but I gave her a hug and told her it would be fine, just meet alot of friends and be good.

Dylan had a big surprise for Harley when she came home.  He had been working on her very own bedroom.  The only way we could go, was down, so he had built her a beautiful bedroom in the basement he redid.  I hope she likes it, it is nicer than our bedroom, maybe we should have made it for us, hehe.  It had everything a teen could want.  When Harley got home, we told her to go to the basement to get us some boxes, imagine her surprise when she went down there.  We heard the stereo, so we knew she must have liked it.

I don't think she came up for air for a few hours.  I told Dylan, "ya know, your going to have to do the same thing with the twins when they turn teenager."  He just looked at me and grinned.  I finally took Dragon for his first race and he came in first, with another trophy to add to his mothers.  When I came out, guess who was waiting, Harley was on Jersey.  Since this was the first time on a horse, she was a little shaken, but was having fun.  We rode home together and it was a nice to have this time with each other.

I bet her little behind is going to be sore.  I don't think she liked it too well that I was laughing at her, but she reminded me of her dad, when he fell off of Jersey.  He didn't know I saw him, so that is our little secret.

Dylan exercised Jersey, whenever he got the chance.  I told him I wanted to enter Jersey in the next race, but Jersey was a little rusty from not exercising as much as he should have been, so we will wait for a bit.

Well, the plans were made for our trip to France.  It was the twins birthday in a couple of days and after that, Honey said she would keep an eye on them, she just lived to the back of our house.  I am excited and we will be gone for 6 days.  I knew this would refresh our marriage, which we both are in need of very badly.  Dylan did say he wanted to talk to me about something and I never knew what he would have on his mind or what he was up to.......
