Chapter 35 - "The Date"

After Leo left, I couldn't describe how I really felt.  He had been here a while, but we really didn't spend that much time together.  I think he liked me, but that is not why he was here.  I am hoping that the reason why he left, was maybe he had gotten some more information about my mother.  Oh well time will tell.

A few days passed and finally I heard Leo's bike pull up.  It was kind of late, but I had been reading, so it didn't matter.  When he came in the house, he had a solemn look on his face and he said we needed to talk.  This can't be good.  He proceeded to tell me, pretty much what I had already figured out.  I guess I had been one of many babies that had been kidnapped and sold to wealthy families.  It happened to so many families and I thought, how cruel.  He proceeded to tell me, that my mom searched and searched for me and never did find out who had adopted me.  Those files were sealed and regardless of the reason, they could not be opened.  Funny thing, I found out she lived only 20 miles from where I grew up.  Anyway, I guess as she got older, she was placed into a nursing home because of ill health.  When the nurse came in one morning, she had passed during the night.  She had clutched in her hand, a worn, faded hospital baby picture of a little girl, with a pink bow in her hair.  Goosebumps went all over my body.  I guess that is it then.  No more searches, it was just me and my family.  Leo was watching my face as I took all of this information in and took my hand and told me he was sorry it couldn't have been better news.  I guess there was no reason for him to stay here any longer and that made me sad.

Leo finally said, "ok, how about that date now."  I asked him, now?  He said that they had just finished building a small casino on the other side of town and we were going to go have fun.  So off we went.

This was a nice place, not exactly what I would expect for this type of town, but maybe this town needs some more livening up.

Right off, I won some money.  Poor Leo, he was not having any luck at all.

I don't think your suppose to do that Leo.

We were getting thirsty and went upstairs to a really nice little outside place, that served drinks and food.

Leo said, "lets get a room for the night. I promise, no hanky panky."  So we got a room, but Leo said he had to kiss me goodnight, I had no objection to that in the least.

It was a gorgeous room.  Leo slept on the outside of the covers and he was perfect gentleman.

I had thought about this for a couple of days, when we got up, I just came right out and said it.  I asked Leo to stay with me and not in the barn, if he wanted to.  He told me he wished it was that easy.  He still had a couple of other jobs lined up with Mr. Payne, but maybe it wouldn't take him too long, but, yes, he would love to stay with me.

After that, we were starved and went down to one of the little cafe's and ate breakfast.  It was yummy.

After that, before we went home, we played some blackjack.  I came out ahead and Leo broke even.  That was alot of fun.

What a wonderful date that was, it was more fun than I had had in a very long time.  Secretly, I did not want it to end.

We didn't speak on the way home, which was unusual for both of us.  Leo finally said, "I do have to leave for a while, but I will do my best to see if Mr. Payne can replace me.  Tricia, I really do want to be here with you, it just might be a while and I will call everyday, I promise."  Later that night, he left.
I felt so empty again.  Would I see Leo again?  Would we have any kind of future together?....

Chapter 36 - "Birth and Birthdays"

Not long after Leo left, Harley came over with some news.  She was pregnant and I was going to be a grandma.  Well, I didn't expect that so soon after her and Alex were married.  He was doing well though, he was working and Harley had just gotten her job in the medial career.  She said she thought she was going to have the baby around the time of the girls birthdays, how weird would that be?

Time moved on, the boys loved the treehouse and wished their dad was there to thank him for building it so long ago.  I purchased the girls their first cars for their birthdays, shhh, don't let out my secret.  I also bought a huge TV, I hadn't really spent any money, but I thought this was a wise purchase.  Leo was always sending me something, he was really sweet and he did call everyday.

The girls said they wanted to live together after they were adults.  They really had no boyfriends and it would be fun.  I told them I would do the same for them as I had for Harley, but they also had to get jobs and be self sufficient.

The day of the girls birthdays, Heather decided she would prank the sink in the kitchen, I caught her before she had finished and scolded her.  How could she, I guess she wanted to get a last prank before she was an adult.  I had to snicker to myself though.

I put her in a time out for a bit and she was not amused.

The guests were invited and the cakes were set out.  The girls had invited a few friends from school and very much pregnant Harley waddled over from across the street.  People started showing up and it was a hit.

Haley:

Heather:

I thought I heard the familiar sound of a motorcycle and then I saw him out of the corner of my eye, it was Leo!!  He said he was finishing up things and he would really try and make it for the girls birthdays.  There goes those butterflies again.  It had been over a year since we had seen each other.

He was so sweet.

We danced and having a blast.  When I heard a scream and Harley had went into labor.

She screamed, "Mom, call Alex and tell him to meet us at the hospital."

With that, we took off to the hospital so this little baby will be born happy and healthy.  Alex got there not too long after we arrived, he must have been close to get there that fast.  It didn't take long and the new bundle of joy was born.
Meet Audrey Michaels:

I went home with the new parents and got them settled and went back home and the party was just breaking up.  Now would be a good time to give the girls their gifts.  I had wrapped the keys up in little boxes and parked the cars across the street in their new home.  Things were really coming together nicely.

We were all exhausted.  The girls would be moving out tomorrow and now, I just needed to find Leo and give him a proper welcome home.

Chapter 37 - "Unexpected Surprises"

The next day was a busy day.  First, Haley and Heather moved across the street to this little house.

Then I decided to pay Harley a visit and see and hold my new granddaughter, she is adorable.

Harley and I talked awhile and then she said, "Mom, when are you and Leo getting married?  You know, it has been a long time since daddy has died and you deserve some happiness with a man.  Haley and Heather are moved out now and you need to really get on with your life for a change."  I told her there were the boys to consider, which wasn't a problem, they loved Leo. He took them fishing and played with them whenever he could, since he has been back.

After leaving Harley's, I got a call saying they were bringing my foal.  Finally, after all of this time, I am getting my foal.  Meet Baxter and what a ball of fire he is.

Davis took an automatic liking to Baxter and I believe the feeling was mutual.

A couple of days had passed and I came in from taking care of the horses, when Leo stopped me and put his arms around me.

He said, "I don't want to be without you ever again.  While I was gone, I was a basket case.  I couldn't think straight or even concentrate on what I was doing.  Tricia, would you marry me?"

I thought about what Harley had said and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Leo, so I said yes.

Leo asked me if I wanted to elope or have a wedding.  Dylan and I had a private wedding, but at the time, neither of us really had family or friends.  I had too much family to exclude them from my wedding, so I told him,  "I want a big wedding, with all of the trimmings and my loving family around me."  Leo said, "good, so lets start planning a wedding........"

These phones ringing sure mess up screenshots, lol.  I know one thing, I barely have to tell these sims what to do for these stories, they seem to read your mind.  I have Twallan's story progression and as soon as Harley and Alex moved out, they got jobs and she got pregnant.  I had to incorporate it into the story, but I didn't think it would be that fast.  It turned out pretty good though.

Thanks for comments.

Congratulations, Tricia and Leo!  I'm wondering if the story is going to continue long enough for us to see Tricia and Leo have children?  I'm very curious as to what Leo's kids might look like.  Great update!

I was wondering the same thing myself, lol.  I hope the game lasts that long.  Moving sims out have seem to help with some lagging, but it just crashed to desktop now and that is a first.  Will keep my fingers crossed.  Kind of weird if she has babies, she just became a grandma, but she does have a little time before she becomes an elder.

Chapter 37 - "Wedding Day"

The day of our wedding, I woke up to find Leo staring at the photobooth pictures of Dylan and I.  Leo said, "Do you miss him?"

I told him, "I did for a long time.  Dylan was my first relationship ever.  At the time, I thought I would never fall in love again and then you came along, my knight in shining armor."

Leo kissed me and said he loved me and couldn't wait for me to become Mrs. Simvinci.  That sounded strange, seemed like I had been Mrs. Michaels for a lifetime.

I told Leo I had a milliion things to do, so he needs to quit distracting me and sent him off with a smirk on my face.  I heard something downstairs where the girls use to stay and found Dylan sleeping.  I knew I had to take Honey's advice and put closure to this situation.  Dylan had to be moved back to the pier.
I told him I was getting married and he should be happy for me, that I was moving on, well, he wasn't happy at all and said I was breaking his heart.

He finally said, "Then be happy Tricia, I was a fool to think that I could live life as a ghost and still be married to you.  I promise, I will never return to haunt you and our family.  Just do me one favor, tell the boys about me, please."  And with that he vanished in a puff of blue smoke.

I will always have a place in my heart for Dylan, after all, he is the father of my five children and we have a granddaughter.  I know Leo will make me happy and do love him alot.  Leo was out back with the horses, I had to laugh, because he had never ridden a horse and he was just too funny trying to ride Dragon, but Dragon was patient with Leo though.

It was time to get married!  I was a nervous wreck, not sure why, I was marrying a wonderful man.  The guest were already there and Leo was actually waiting for me at the alter.  He asked me real low, "Are you sure about this?"  I just giggled and said, lets do this.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Leonardo Simvinci:

We cut the cake and I told Leo, "if you shove it my face, you will honeymoon alone." *snicker*

We sat and ate cake and watched while family and friends danced and had a good time.  Then it was our turn to dance together.

It was nearly one in the morning, when the party broke up and we needed to get the boys home, they had school tomorrow.  Everyone got settled and Leo and I spent some quality time together, which we hadn't had too much of lately.

A perfect ending to a perfect day........
