I didn't take advantage of the Palladium opportunity to stockpile the metal, so now I'm having trouble getting it for making more simbots, and I'm not getting any from mining either. Does anyone know the location of nodes which are most likely to yield Palladium?

Llama I know of two spots in Sunset that regularily spawn palladium.

The mine, and sim henge.

But you can also find palladium while rumaging through rich peoples trash. Such as the Wolf's, Landgrabs and Altos. Plus you never know what kind of goodies you can find in trash bins. One persons garbage, another persons treasure. :)

Oops, I neglected to say "in Twinbrook". I like the idea of rummaging trash cans. I've never tried it, but maybe the chance of getting Palladium would be higher by mining or rock hunting.

I've found 2-3 palladiums in the big scrapyard. Maybe you could go and check there? :)

Thanks. In the junk stacks, or on the ground?

How's your simbot invasion coming along? Dying to know!

I found palladium in about three specific spots in Twinbrook while I had the opportunity--I think I remember where they were.  I'll get some screen shots here in a few hours when I get home.  When I mine, I typically pull up mountains of gems (usually one soulpeace a day), very few metals, and even fewer space rocks.  Just the luck of the draw?  Or maybe it's because I typically mine on days I have the "Lucky" moodlet...

@Swede--I actually never found anything better than silver in the Junkyards, you lucky duck.

On a side note, I've built a dark green simbot, a clean white simbot, and a white and gold simbot.  Anyone else build any other colors?

Is the color of the Simbot completely random? I've only built one and it was brown.

It's limited to my pink diamond supply really. I've maybe had enough resources to make ~2 simbots so far, so I'm planning to let him take up martial arts, but he has too little money to concentrate himself on it. I'm working on it. He's up and running in the sense of beating down humans as of now and has built himself a nice little graveyard! ;)

I also designed a form of trap room which is impossible (without teleporting) to exit once entered which I use to kill people in (doesn't use locked doors or anything! ;D I'm getting skilled at tomb-building). In light of all this, I'd say Twinbrook will be ready to be over-taken by simbots when I get some more made! :)

Yeah, well, I tried to populate the town with one, but when I released him he left town.  :'(  Waste of materials!

I have seen Shiny ones in pics but the LTR one was a rusty brown.

Everybody I've ever made has been black for some reason. Not rusty; kinda a shiny black. (or maybe dark blue is closer? ::))

Not that I doubt your killing skills Swede, but I really wonder if you will succeed in this. Because when the town notices that there are too little sims living there, the game will make and populate new ones.
