I'm just not a fan of overly cutie, valley girl type stuff. It's toooooo Hollywood and sugery. Reminds me of why I hate some reality shows. Not real!
As much as I like this stuff pack, I admit some of the stuff is over the top.
The outside is quiet, but the inside is on full blast.

sdhoey, your Vita Alto picture made me giggle.

I'm so impatient right now, because I got my copy for $18 at Target, just when I was doing a complete uninstall/reinstall. Great deal, if anyone is interested, in the US. It's my first and last physical copy, I purchased with my own money. I couldn't pass up on a deal like that, and Target is right by Sears, so I knew it was a good time, since I was working that day.

I'm quite excited to build gingerbread houses, and create quirky outfits on my unusual colored Sims. I wanted to post a thread on my deal earlier, in case anyone in the US is interested, and likes to shop at Target, but Rachel beat me to it.  :)

One upside to this, is that I can finally get rid of all the excess third party CC, I really don't need. I have a ton of vairity from the TS3 store and all the EP/SP content as is plus, mods, and Simporting, it's just not worth it to me to have my game lag over CC overload.

I saw that the deal was going on but I've been worried that installing might cause problems with my already existing files.  Stuff packs usually don't but you never can tell these days what will and what won't you know?

I'm glad that those that do have it are thoroughly enjoying it.  I, too, will end up with the copy but I will register it and download it via origin instead of using the physical disc even if that's how I buy it.  I just prefer to not have the CD in all the time.

*facepalm* Wait, you don't need the disk if you register it off of Origin? Now I feel a little dumb going out and buying it, but I was so desperate for that $18 dollar deal. Well, at least I have the physical copy if something goes wrong, right?

If something did go wrong, you always could download the gym at origin again.
You also would have an easier way to installs that same stuff pack on another computer.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe that Ricalynn was saying that even if she does buy the physical copy she will register it through origin so that she doesn't need the disc in to play it all the time so if you prefer the downloaded copy then do it that way yourself. It basically turns your physical copy into a digital download. I would love to but I have a Mac and origin doesn't do digital downloads for origin so I am pretty sure that I can't.  :(

@MomofMany, You're right it doesn't work this way for your Mac.  However there are several websites that do Mac digital downloads.  I almost always go through GameTreeMac for my Mac downloads and if I buy it as a Mac download, register the product key - I can then use it on any PC I want through origin.  I also save the .dmg files that can be downloaded in a folder and when I need to do a complete reinstall - they are available where I saved them without having to find the website and links again.

@Jeana - What I meant and didn't articulate well was that if I buy the physical copy from Target for cheaper,  I can always register the game through EA/TS3/Origin and it will become available to download instead of install via the disc.  That way if I wanted to - I could just download the game so I could play with the disc.

Thanks for clarifying! I'm really having fun with this Stuff Pack I must say. I even redecorated the Caliente Sisters' place in BB, and even took their old outfits, and made them Katy Perry Style. I knew I would love this SP, and the excitement was worth it, but I didn't think it was this worth it. Recoloring and redecorating was more fun. Typically I'm lazy, on the recolor department, but I've never spent this much effort. I even made Dots Candy Wallpaper, when I refurnished their place.

I had to post this! I really had fun candyfing classic Sims (ones from the previous Sims series), by redecorating their houses, and recreating their everyday and swim outfits from TS2, in Katy Perry form. Normally I'm lazy on recoloring, because I like some of the selective styles TS3 comes up with, but I spent practically all night redecorating their house. I thought Nina and Dina were perfect for my experiment, so I gave it a try, and here's how they turned out:

Dina's famous black bikini she wears in the hot tub at the start of the game, in TS2.

Her famous black dress.

Nina's blue bikini, 2.0. The bottoms were a recolor of Master Suites, I thought they added a bit of flair. The bow and sunglasses, kind of compares to Katy's fun colorful vintage style.

And here's the Katyfied version of her Black halter top and pink cargo pants we remember from TS2. Her hot pink lipstick is very Katy Perry like.

I posted them on the official forums as well, but I trust this forum's judgement a lot more. LOL! *prepares for hateful comments how I ruined the Caliente Sisters...*

The LGR review on this is fantastic. ;D

Jeana, that last picture - is that hair from this stuff pack?

Nope, it's from the KP Edition of Showtime. The curly hair with the bow, (a la Rihanna), is from MSS.

I got it the day it came out. My sim Mia just loves to sit on a banana split while reading a recipe. She's so classy.

She also likes reading the paper in her candy covered kitchen! With a few of her space rocks on the counters of course!

And here is her candy house with a massive garden!

I have to say that this is the most fun I've ever had with any stuff pack. I've been playing around with this a lot, and now I'm excited to put this content in Union Cove. The foofy hair and obnoxious frilly dresses are adorable, and frivolous, but in a fun, Simlish kind of way, with the Freezer Bunny, not the yucky, Barbie-ish CC sort of way. I'm always open to new game features, and once I try them, I usually love them. I knew I was going to have this much fun. I think this SP has defiantly improved my building skills, and recoloring creativity. Maybe I'll have even more fun in Hidden Springs.

Aside from the cover itself, I hope EA continues to put these outfits in future Sims games.

I've got this SP yeaterday and although I didn't have a lot of time to play around with it (the game keeps crashing for some unrealted reason) but I must say that I love this pack.
And I absolutely love the new dresses and the cotoon-candy'ish tree.
