Leto, I have a nitpick about the formatting in the first post - America and Britain use commas rather than periods in money values. I thought it was just under 3k simoleons at first glance rather than just under 3 million. Maybe you could just lose the periods altogether for the clueless members here? I certainly can't wait to get this baby in my game!

You mean $2704.530 or $2704,530?

In the US and UK, it's $2,704,530. I guess for you it's $2.704.530, I know that's how it is in most of Europe. I was thinking just to use $2704530 to avoid confusion.

Downloading it now. :) Looking forward to using it.
I'm still getting the error message with your signature tho.

I said something which cannot be printed when I first saw this house - and I don't swear very often. That shows how mind-boggling it is! What a lot of hard work and effort it must have taken to build it!

It is so big. So very large. So tremendously huge. Do you hear that often?

I also swore when I saw it.  ;D

It looks good, but is it usable? I'd worry about the sims getting to the bathroom in time as it must be a bit of a walk between different parts. Plus getting from a bedroom to the front door for work... can they make it in time or do they end up being late? Also with raising kids if you have to keep moving from one part of the castle to other parts when you have a large family and them all scattered about, it must be hard to keep tabs on everyone. I like to play in quite a controlling way and not let anyone do anything I haven't instructed them to do.  :-[

Those would be my concerns anyway, but just for looking at, wow. And I really commend all the hard work that must've gone into it.

I was just thinking over the weekend that I might have a stab at doing buckingham palace but I don't know if I'd have the patience to spend that long on one build. Respect!

An excellent observation Decima.

I do have tested this in gameplay as the very first demands I had about this castle where: beautifull compared with playability.
The rooms are devided and placed in such a way that you can easily track where you are and where to go when you've familirised with the concept of the house.
Therefore, there is that little kitchen connected to the nercary to give your little once food fast (don't confuse that with fast food) and some skilling rooms are also connected to several toilets.
You can go to your work easily. And you even can have sleepovers for 8 foreign visitors at one time (which is the max) because the fourth floor is devided into the roof guardens as well as 8 bed- and bathrooms.
All skill based rooms which are too far from the rooms for your sims basic needs are also connected to another toilet.

I can say you: doing laundry is a never ending daily business now. You better have a butler as well as a maid.
