Create A Style Help!

I was giving one of my sims from my dynasty new clothes, but when I went to Create A Style to change the colour,it has these sparkling square thingies and well... Wont let me colour anything. This is going for half an hour. Here is a screenshot:

(Did you take this with your phone? You could have just clicked C and the screenshot would have been taken just like normal)

The "square thingies" are there to show what item of clothing you are currently recolouring. It was probably just loading all the patterns, they can take a long while to load - especially the "themed" ones, there's loooads of them.

EDIT: I've had occasions where it just won't stop loading and I've just had to exit and restart the game.

It looks like you have CC.   Did you patch up yesterday?   Patches can sometimes cause problems with CC so I would check to see if it needs an update or remove it until you know it's compatible.

As for the screenshot, if you were worried about not showing the UI.  Hitting the print screen button and then pasting it into paint will allow you to show us the UI and the picture without using your phone.  Plus it will be a little clearer on what's really happening as I don't see what you may be talking about other than the selection square corners.

Also I removed all the exclamation points from the title of this thread. Using extra exclamation points won't get you help any faster than normal.  Not to mention too many can look disorganized and aren't very neat looking to keep the professional look of the forum.

The square corners just mean you have that particular piece of clothing selected but it looks like you lost your UI because I don't see the things on the side that indicate that you're in CAS.   You're going to need to force the game to quit and try again after a restart maybe.  I still stand by the possibility of CC causing problems since the patch.    You never answered my question though.   Did you actually patch up?

Well, atleast I still have the day before she aged up. But I'm not playing this game today. Yes I am patched up, just patched up today

This could still be an issue with your CC so unless you rule that out this could happen again no matter what game you play.

Were you actually in Create A Style or using the dresser? My game often freezes while the Sim is at the mirror or dresser so I always save just before I do any make overs. I always save after birthdays too it just makes sense.

Ratchie she was at the dresser and I clicked on create a style to get her sleepwear orchid. Next time I seriously need to save when my sims age up.
