Ah I see. Mortimer painted his own version of A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, combined with The Seine and la Grande Jatte - Springtime, meshed together into his own. I think it's all in their genes though, along with being grumpy.

Here are a few paintings, painted by my Dynasty founder's spouse, Christopher Steel (no trait changed), and generation 3, Sunshine Pieces, who has the following traits: Artistic, Kleptomaniac, Friendly. She is currently in the Child life stage. In addition, Chris is the first mortal in my Dynasty to supermax a skill, Painting. He has the Extra Creative lifetime reward, too.

Paintings by Chris (level 10):

All of his painted portraits are divided into tiny puzzle pieces. I believe it's his Daredevil trait's influence.

Paintings by Sunshine (level 7):

Thanks Esther! Those two will become the super duo in no time! ;D Chris is the first mortal in my dynasty to supermax a skill. And without my effort!

Small contribution from me:

There are others too that are not already posted here but didn't took pictures of them. I'm trying to have all paintings to use in Art Gallery and while decoration lots, and as well as to satisfy my curiosity ;D At this point, I have finished 147 different paintings and I know at least 8 more I'm missing. I was looking for more info about how many paintings there are, and maybe their listing, but couldn't find anything anywhere but in this topic someone mentioned number 158 long time ago.  If someone knows where to check what am I missing please share it here or PM me:)

In meanwhile few of my Sims are working on architectural design too:

And new fashion research:

I just put collection on Swap Shop here, 158 different paintings, finished, on easels. If I put them on walls than other Sims can't drag them to inventory, so I left them on easels ;) I forgot about some beautiful paintins:

They are so simple, yet so beautiful Anushka!
I love the second one, the one with the purple vines :)

Painted by the new Caliente artist, Ava. Not only have I never seen it before, I'm not sure what it is!

Cool painting, Dreamweaver!
I have never seen this painting before, either. It kinda reminds me of a UFO, with the neon green object and dark background, though.

Dreamweaver - I wonder if she has a trait that makes it blurry...

That trait is Artistic, I think.
Maybe the painting does actually look like something, but a lot of detail was ommited?
