Oh, I also forgot to mention- The different styles the Sims use? They seem to be tools from certain photo manipulators. I know the program I have can do the block patterns that Computer Whiz Sims can do, and the big blocky pixels that ruin the image. I've seen the neon tool used on a older version of Photoshop. There's also a way to add a small hue of color with a big paintbrush that's 'softened' with Photoshop, so that's possibly how EA dose Virtuoso, Evil, and Good's painting edits.
Saltypaws, that's actually what my Sim did on a Drawing Board.
When you click on one, there's three options, which are 'Practice Painting', 'Draw Architecture', and 'Draw Style'. My Sim probably did style, but as I said, she did it when I wasn't looking. All the Architecture and Style drawing I've seen have always been pencil drawn people and buildings, and they never look poor quality, which makes them good for decorating the house.
Also, sorry about the size of the image. Guess I better go read up on Carl's guide.
