The Sims 3: Supernatural - Officially Announced!

I can't wait to see Bonehilda again, she was great in The Sims Makin' Magic. I would get her closet alot.

Oh heck yes!  I cannot wait for this one!  I'm going to get the PvZ edition for the extras.  I love that game.  XD  I'll give it a little while before I place my order, though.  I know what I'm doing with my next paycheck.  This is one expansion I MUST have.  I'm so excited for it!  Glad to see they're adding a feature to control various aspects of your town and population with this one.  It'll keep the supernaturals from overrunning the towns.  It'll be nice not to deal with celebrity sims. It gets annoying when you can't talk to someone who is, despite being just your average sim Joe, somehow a celebrity!  XD  I also love that we can make them in CaS!  That's so cool.  I for one had all kinds of trouble meeting a vampire and getting them to turn my sim.  This way I won't have to wait for special sims.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but does the peashooter shoot peas? As in, the edible kind?
If so, I'm trying to get the Limited Edition.

I don't know how they're going to convert Plants vs. Zombies content into Sims 3, but the Pea Shooter is a plant that has a big round mouth from which peas shoot out to stop the zombies.  If I remember correctly, the peas do sort of splat on the zombie like a pea you can eat would do.  I haven't played it in awhile, but it's a great game and wildly popular with the casual game crowd.

According to the preoder page I'm looking at right now, "Peashooter-This steadfast ally is ready to defend your house from zombified Sims and other unsavory characters like burglars and repo men! You can have wand duels like those in the Harry Potter universe!  And the zombies.....ZOMG the zombies bite other sims!!!  *spazzes out*  I'll be preodering this the second my check is in the bank.

I have a friend who was in love with this game and maybe still is. She should love this expansion.

I'm so glad we can control the types of creatures we want. Frankly, I'm not that interested in werewolves, etc. I really just want witches, pixies/faeries and maybe elves. I don't even like the vampires in Late Night. 

Now I have to chose between Pets and Supernatural.  Ugh, so many options!

Great the contoll over the supernaturals and others. This makes things really interesting. I also love the fact that we can make all the supernaturals in CAS. Another thing I'm excited about is the moon cycle. No more random in signs! I must say it sounds really epic. With this I can wait for seasons a bit longer

September is too far away....  but it is just in time for the kids to go back to school and leave me with more free time.

I think so, it's been a common recurrence with the EPs - I hope they update the SP options to include TL too... That's how I get my SPs and now I have 2 copies of FL! 

Also, someone mentioned they were looking for someone to offer the EP a little cheaper - I'll mention that I personally saved $5 off the $39.99 preorder price for Showtime by purchasing it as a digital download on Amazon.  They may offer it for this one too..  On that note, I will say that I will never buy another Digital Download again as it has to actually Download the game into your computer and then you 'install' it so it takes up like twice as much room on your hard drive!  With my laptop and 3 more EPs to go, I'm gonna need all the room I can get!

I wonder what the new "life state" is going to be?  I mean because it's usually a surprise, right?  Or is this kind of a moot point since this is pretty much a "Life State" EP?

I think you're right, in this case the EP is basically all about new life states, so I can't imagine them bringing more to the table. Already they're adding what, four new life states?

I am so excited about the elf ears! I mean, about everything, but I had a "half-elf" Sim in TS2 that I adored for his pointy ears. Ears aside, I think the time has come for me to make a Harry Potter neighbourhood at last. Muahahahahahah!

About the vampires, I wonder how that will work if you don't have Late Night.  Will they include all the plasma stuff from Late Night in this EP?

On Origin they do a deal where you buy an EP but it gives you a list of selected (Never the latest) SP's and you can pick one for free and it gets delivered.
