Why am I the most excited for baking and beekeeping? My gardening sims could really use some honeybees to sweeten up their lives.

It would sweeten it up better than more Katy Perry stuff. There's going to be a version without brands/celebrity endorsement, right? D:

Oh, I would like new keeping and baking in this game. I just hope they will be actual skills and the probably will.

Beekeeping? If this is true, then they are definitely running out of ideas. :P That is well random!

Thanks for the info, Wednesday!

Although I had to laugh when looking through the list of features - I was like. "Yeah, Yeah that's fine, Wait why is there Bee Keeping!?"  ???

Bee-keeping actually makes sense to me because this new EP looks inspired by The Sims Makin' Magic, which had a lovely autumnal/carnival atmosphere that I think the skill would fit right into.

Harry Potter on the other hand does attract me. I am once again not a fan, but the idea of a downloadable Hogward school is just cool. Even more if it also would function as one.

I'm not usually one for branded content, but yeah, the Harry Potter world has really piqued my interest. I'm picturing Hogsmeade covered in snow.  ;D

I can't help wondering if the info from wikipedia is based on the Sims Makin' Magic. I've seen other evidence of bee-keeping, but baking, amusement parks, and carnival rides are things I'll have to see officially posted. If this EP does include all that, I think it'll be the best EP ever, but even if it doesn't, I'm planning to get it.

The Wikipedia article sounds like Makin' Magic.

In MM, Sims had to harvest beeswax and honey from Bees to cast certain spells. And the carnival - to non-magic Sims, Magic Town was a carnival/Amusement Park.

Just seen this is also rumored here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sims_3#Expansion_packs I know this is not a really reliable source but it has a little more info. Of course I couldn't really read the other site as it was not in English but just thought I would link it here for anyone interested.

The  thing I've found about wikipedia is that anyone can edit/add info and it may or may not be true. I've gone there several times to check things like the order of EPs or past release dates to see "new information" that is  removed later because it was rumor or speculation. The only thing I trust wiki on about Sim's info are the things that have already happened that can be verified.

Harry Potter here I come! :D

I think these item "leaks" is really EA purposely teasing us with their awesome items.

EA is a company in the United States. I'm not trying to pout or complain, but why is it that Europe gets the hints, before the US? That's always something that's been a bit confusing.

As for Making Magic, I vaguely remember Sims 1. The most I remember was Hot Date. But I'm very excited to see more life states, especially from what TS1 and TS2 had to offer coming back to TS3, because they always have it more improved when they include it in Sims 3. The Magician leavening himself in Showtime is a perfect example. I love sharing him with other Sim players, and even having him used by them with SimPort. I'm kind of excited for Werewolves witches and fairies. The good witch and bad witch appearing was a ton of fun in Apartment life, so I'm even more excited about what improvements will be done with the witches.

I think it's because there are also EA companies in each country with the same information, so that country's EA might be the one that leaks the info. I don't really think it matters anyway because, with the aid of the internet, everyone gets to find out within hours. These "leaks" usually happen on the internet, and even though it might be on a website specific to one country, the internet is for us all. ;)

I'm going to get this JUST for the fairs. No joke. I have been wanting rides forever since I had Sims 2. I'm going to get the Harry Potter edition :)

Haven't seen anyone post this yet (correct me if I'm wrong) and there's a ton of info on simsvip. http://simsvip.com/?page_id=8081
And this doesn't interest me. I like the game to be realisitc and each new EP they make is making it less and less realistic.

I'm personally loving it! :D Woo, sounds so awesome! Just hope the KP/HP rumours aren't true and then this may be my favourite EP!

Wow, if that was all gained from the Patch then I hope it's true. I saw 'Create an Outfit' listed.  ;) If all that does come in this EP then that is a whole lot of awesome sounding stuff!

Some of those werewolf interactions cracked me up. I'm not too keen on the online gift-giving function and wish EA would leave online content out of the game, but the rest is leaving me excited.
