Do you see Mummy paparazzis? Or simbot paps? Not every occult is able to be so easily spread around the townies. That happens with Vampires and that's basically it. Not sure about Genies.

I've had a Simbot paparazzi - but only if I built a simbot and released it. I suppose "paparazzi with wings and pointy ears" is something we'll have to wait and see the actual EP to find out if it's something we can get.

Genies only appear in your town if your sim release it and you kick them out.

Why does everyone constantly go "Ugh I want seasons!!" when an EP that isn't seasons is rumoured. You do realise that other EPs have yet to come and it is very likely that one of them will be Seasons? EA are well aware that it is the most requested, and for that reason they will be holding out on it. I find it so annoying when people constantly moan about the lack of Seasons when all the EPs aren't even here yet, I'm not trying to be rude but patience is a virtue.

I wasn't complaining I was just hoping that is what it would be seeings how it is the 7th expansion. Knowing this will not be the last expansion I am sure it will come out in time but that doesn't mean it has to be last. Pets was a big one for alot of people as well and it wasn't last. I also hear many people wanting magic and again not last if this rumor is indeed correct so it doesn't have to be. Patience is a virtue and we are patiently waiting. Is it wrong to say you were hoping for something though? I am just not interested in magic and it's a little disappointing to me that there have been a few in a row that aren't big interests for me. The ones I really want haven't come out yet! And I am starting to think all of them will not come out but seasons I have no doubt will. I did get some of the other ones that were not of big interest so it is quite possible I will get it anyways. I mean it is new content after all and who can resist that?

Thinking about the way they have done things so far there is probably only one occult and the rest will just be clothing items but nothing with any power. I don't know though I didn't expect the Sweet Treats stuff pack so I could be very wrong again. I just think of how they showed the green sims before like they were teasing that there would be plant sims but they were nothing. Of course maybe that was a teaser for things to come? I don't know! Maybe that was all just a ploy to get us talking about occults to see what we all really want! Again I don't know could be anything really!

Fair enough, I wasn't actually specifically directing my post at yours, just a lot of people do like to go overboard with the asking-for-Seasons when a new EP is rumoured/announced. I think EA are delibrately leaving it, maybe not till last, but as one of the later ones because they know all the hype is around it. I just hope whenever it does come out that it doesn't cause everyone's cards to die like Pets did!

This sounds interesting. I like that they are putting all the madness into the game again - magic, witches, werewolves - all that. I didn't really play Apartment Life (the magic EP) in Sims 2, but Seasons (which had plantsims in it) was one of my favourites, so I like the idea of this a lot. I agree with Fez when she says that Sims was meant to be weird. It's a realistic /real life simulation/ game, yes, but one of the biggest (also bestselling) add-ons of this franchise were supernatural-oriented. I personally think that that's what video gaming is about anyway but that's another topic of discussion.

To put it short, I like the idea of this EP. Also, I think SimPrograms shouldn't be all that sure of it, just yet, but...eh. I hope that this rumour is true.

So it looks like there's a choice between Harry Potter and Katy Perry, or neither. I'm really going to have a hard time choosing. The KP sound better, since I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I think I'll be most disappointed if we don't get our extra skins and fairy wings.

I agree with Wednesday. Part of what attracted me to Sims was the unrealistic undertones in the realistic game. As much as I love Sims 3, I had been getting bored with it halfway though because of the realism overboard. Generations was a big turn around for me, as well as Pets. I honestly could care less what anyone says about EA, they did a great job on their EP's/SP's. If I don't get Seasons, I can always return to TS2, to play with my precious plant Sims.
