Has anyone found the Curious family in Twinbrook? I can't find them.

How do they look like? Because the last name will probably be different in my game because I installed the Dutch version.

No idea, I imagine they look like the sims 2 versions of themselves.

It won't be the Curious Family of Sims 2, It will be the Dead ones of Sims 2!  :D

The Curious house is up in the far northeast corner of the town.

I found them, too.  It is family of four that lives way out there, not sure if they have anything to do with the Sims 2 family though.

I think that they do actually; I remember reading some advertisement of them being in Ambitions. The risk with it though is that Sims 3 is like 50 years or so before Sims 2, so the family members there may not be the same as previously.

My Sim Bot fought a fire at the Curious Household and when he was finished with the fire it was time to go home and to my surprise instead of getting in the firetruck to go home, he ran across the street. :o  LOL I didn't realize they lived across the street from the Curious household. :-[
The Curious house has 5 people in the house.  Marshall adult male I assume is the father, Cherish Curious adult female Mom, Bunny Curious female child, Notzo Curious female (I think) toddler and I'm not sure if this person lived there or was just visiting but Lenny-Smith Jones adult male.

Has anyone figured out the good spots for fishing, gem collecting and stuff like that in Twinbrooks? Perhaps anyone with a Prima Guide that could shed some light on that?

From the Prima Guide -

Fishing Spots:  Elkhorn Fishing Park, Guppy Gills Pond, Hollowlog Springs, River Junction Beach Park, off the edge of the Twinbrook Esplanade.

It's hard to tell about collectibles because there are just pictures of the map view with tags for each kind of collectible. I can't really put all that into text.  Sorry.

Somebody in an earlier post mentioned that with Ambitions you can now place empty lots with the World Editor. I haven't got Ambitions yet and won't be able to get it for a while  :'( however I have installed the new patch and you have World Editor with that patch, so it's not unique to Ambitions.

I realise this is a bit off topic however the post was on this thread.

I never use the Prima Guide or anything like that. For me the fun of it is exploring the town, I love it. I've seen some amazing sunsets in Egypt that way and got some great shots. If I have a collecting sim I give them athletic too so I jog everywhere and improve my athletic skill.

I found the Curious family. Huh. They are nothing like what I expected. If you played the Sims 2, you are in for a surprise.

If you didn't play TS2, the Curious family was a great favorite of mine and many other people. There were three brothers...Lazlo, Pascal and Vidcund. They were nerdy, had the worst run of luck you can imagine, lived in an ugly house and were flat out adorable. I played them for hours.

So you can imagine how happy I was to find they would be in Ambitions. Well, the "new" Curious family is a married couple with a toddler.  >:(

Normally certain fishing spots have certain fish in it. Any hints on that?
And any spots on the map where a lot of those tags are close to eachother? Certain collectible hot spots, so to speak?

I'm mostly looking for the rare death fish and stuff like that.

Well Deathfish will most likely be close to the Graveyard, they were in Riverview, in the river by the cemetary.

The Deathfish are indeed at the cemetary. There's both a pool and a pond there, and it's the pond that has them.

It's just going to take a little while to get the spots for the collectibles. The maps in the Prima Guide are hard to read because they don't have any locations labled. I can see where these things are supposed to show up, but I'm not familiar enough with Twinbrook to be able to describe it.

They have a pool in the cemetery... that is not odd at all.  ;)
