Twinbrook
« on: May 30, 2010, 01:27:39 PM »
I think there should be a topic about Twinbrook. It's a new town to all of us and it would be nice to know where the gem spawn spots, fishing spots, community lots etc. are.

I do not have Ambitions yet and I would love to add some information when I get it. But for the people who already have Ambitions: What is Twinbrook like?

I like the set up of it but to me there are not many houses that are empty but that is just my opinion. If I knew how to get a screen shot for you I would but I don't know how.

Take a Screen Capture by pressing 'C' or clicking the Camera button then you can upload the photo through a service like Photobucket!  ;)

I read that the Curious family is back, and living in Twinbrook. Is this true?

I don't remember the Curious family but yes it is true. I don't know if they are the originals or offspring though!
And here are some screenshots:

I have a couple more of the new places in town let me know if you are interested in those as well and I will post screenshots for that as well.

Are there a lot of empty lots for us to build new homes, because if there aren't I'll have to play in Sunset Valley.

I would have thought most EA worlds will have empty lots.

Looking at momofmany's pictures you can kind of see where there's empty lots in Twinbrook. I'm contemplating moving my family from SV to Twinbrook once I get Ambitions, I think it looks lovely.

Apart from the swamp! lol I don't see lots of lots (empty or otherwise) there!

You can now add your own lots but I haven't really played with that part of it yet. I assume that was added to Sunset Valley and Riverview too but I can't confirm that yet. I do like Twinbrook though.

You can add your own lots!  ;D I am sooo exited about that, there are a few places in each World I would have liked to see lots when there weren't!

Add your own lot? Wasn't that already possible? Maybe I just misunderstood you, but as far as I know, you can place lots you have built yourself previously.

Like in Create A World, but without Create a World. I think that's what was meant? Like in Sims 2?

Oh, really? Cool, I've always wondered where that feature went. ;D
It's always feeling so restricted with a set amount of lots even in EA's own neighbourhoods.
