1st Challenge Advice
« on: June 02, 2012, 06:19:42 PM »
I've never done a challenge listed on the forums here, and I'm not really going for the leaderboards, in case you're wondering.  What would be a good challenge for me to start off with?  It can be discontinued, like I said, I don't really care if I'm on the leaderboards or not.  I just want to see if I can do it.   ;D

All the old challanges are listed on the graveyard board. Why not try a few of these or if you want something long term that can be started and played at any time the immortal dynasty and decadynasty challenges are great.

I guess it would depend on a couple of things. The first and most important thing to consider is what expansion packs you have. It's pointless trying a challenge that relies on an EP you don't have. Next would depend on your play style. Why not just read over the different challenges and see if one of them appeals to you. Another way is to look for one that actually needs you to play differently than you normally would. That's the aspect of the challenges I like, often I have to play Sims with traits or careers that I wouldn't normally play.
It really comes down to you. Everyone could come and say you should do this one or that one, but we all have different opinions and not everyone is going to suggest the same one.
Have you read the Forum Rules?

It depends on your playstyle. For something fast, I would reccomend practicing on one of the handiness upgrade challenges. For something a lot longer, you could pick one of the 12 week challenges. Most of those are quite complicated.
