What is the best lure other than an Angelfish to catch a Deathfish?

There is a way,
Have your sim max fishing and read the deathfish bait book, and use any other bait at night. I caught 3 outstanding deathfish and 2 perfect vampirefish.

If you max fishing then just having your Sim fish with the lure will catch deathfish and Vampire Fish at night in the graveyard.

I've managed to catch 4 Normal Deathfish so far, and I made 3 Perfect Ambrosia meals. I had to get to level 10 until I could catch some at a somewhat slow pace.

Glad to hear it!  But why were you unable to use Angelfish for bait?

I'm just bone lazy to make my lure as Cheese, so I could catch the fish that lures the Angelfish. Then again, who isn't?

I'm not entirely sure but angelfish might be sold at the grocery store. If not then I do know the bait for them (either anchovy or alley catfish, again not sure) is.

Yes, the cycle is cheese > alley catfish > angelfish > deathfish.

Thank you, *cough* Seabody *cough*.  Can you tell if using any bait at all increases the overall chances of catching Deathfish.  Or would it be mentioned in that part of the code if it was possible?

Yes, it does (I finally found it!)


Bait gives an overall multiplier of 12% to catching fish. Not much, I know. Might change that...
