Your Task:
The Sun is climbing higher in the sky, the heat is rising, the grass is green and the sky is blue - It sounds like Summer is finally here! Summer is a time for fun in the sun. The Sims however are suffering from the heat which arrives with this new season, so what can you do to help them? It's a well known fact that when you're hot you either go inside, take a nice cold drink or you could go and visit your local beach or pool and bathe in the cooling waters! We can't just let them use the old boring swimming pools and beaches though - things need to be livened up, so we need some new summery aqua-themed venues! Will your aquatic venue be the family fun destination or will it be the place for socialising amongst the adults?

• Budget: $75,000
• Lot Size: 20x30 up-to 30x40
• Other: There needs to be a Pool somewhere on the Lot.

Optional Specifications:

• A sunbathing area, Poolside/Beach-side Bar, Water fun for all the family... etc.

I really wanted to enter this one, but I tried twice to make a pool, and couldn't keep within the price limit, and then had to reinstall my game 4 times due to problems, so ran out of time. Good luck to all the contestants. They all look great! I'm really sad to have missed this one

"Thanks to everyone who voted and took part in the contest!  It's a shame there were so few entries this time round as it was a really good challenge! I hope a few of you got the Wham - Club Tropicana reference, I had the song in my head the entire time I was building so I was probably 'channelling' the feel of the song into my build.  My favourite part of the build was having a great excuse to do a 'water slide'! My least favourite was probably the toilets, toilets just aren't fun, in my opinion.

When I first entered a contest I came joint last and never really saw myself winning any.   So thank you everyone for inspiring me, teaching me, and generally being great Simmers!

Congratulations, Decima!  You definitely earned this win with your amazing summer fun park.  I particularly liked the bridge and, of course, the water slide!  WHooo hoooo!
