The Sims3 Mouse (UPDATED WITH VIDEO)

Has anyone gotten this yet? My hubby ordered one for me and I should be getting it today. I can't wait. He wants me to do a unpacking and start up video for our tech page on Facebook when I get it.

I am so excited. I'll miss my wireless mouse so much but I love my sims alot!

This is a pic of the mouse in the box. I am loading a video of the mouse in regular use, and then a video showing the mouse going from my sim in the red back to green. I'm not the best video taker. And for that I apologize upfront.

Oh, that doesn't matter. But a nice looking mouse by the way.
I know how hard it can be to record something while focussing your camera on some screen (computer, nintendo DS, both are NOT easy).
But if you're ready: you could post a link to the vid in this topic. I would like to watch it.

This is the mouse when you are using the computer for regular stuff. Life Carl and Pam's forum, youtube, facebook. It's very light. It's a nice size.

This one is in game. I enabled testingcheats so I could get her into the red and then let her come back up with the changing colors.

I use a mouse where I could reprogram the buttons. Since I don't use the forward/back buttons that so many mice come with, I reprogrammed mine. Normally, I have them set to enter & escape, which is so convenient in 95% of games and even some apps. When playing Sims 3, I change those buttons to page up/down so I can change floors with the flick of my thumb. I'll take a programmable mouse over a mouse with fancy colours. My mouse has a rechargable battery & wireless support, but I can never remember to keep it charged so its always plugged in and I never use the wireless mode. My old one was wireless with batteries. I don't miss it.

I just wanted to announce what I saw at my local store! I got a light up computer mouse that illuminates to your sims color of mood (green, yellow, red). I havent tried it out yet but it looks awesome. If anyone sees it I hope you can get it! I post more about how it works once I us it It was in electronics right beside the PC sims games. It made specifically to the sims by EA, I just think its awesome. A tad expensive at $24.99 but overall seems nice ! Hopefully I will be seeing a lot of green soon

From what I can tell, they are not wireless though. And I like side buttons for back and forwards on pages and stuff.

Now I just need to get my hands on that juice pong kit

I actually brought this over a year ago from amazon, I believe it was only £15 it's pretty cool. Even when you're not playing the game it just cycles through the colours, and once you've installed the software needed it will change colour according to your Sim's plumbob colour.

I have this. Don't try to play other games with it. It's fine for everyday use, and for The Sims 3, but for other games, it lacks the sensitivity to get the job done. It really doesn't like Simcity in particular.
