"MASON! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME!" Amy yelled.
"I have to go to work!" He growled.
"Like always! You always have work, always Mason!" I heard Amy scream back.
"Well how do you think I support you and Lily huh?! By sitting on my butt all day?!" He snapped before slamming the door.
Amy turned to look at me before I quickly went to work on cleaning the house.
I walked downstairs to check on Lily, she was in her dress again playing with dolls. She was making the dolls argue and yell at each other.
"Lily?" I asked.
"Yes grandma?" She smiled.
"Who are those dolls suppose to be?" I asked.
"Mommy and daddy. They yell a lot..." She whispered before going back to playing.
I set a hand on my heart, that broke as I watched her act with the dolls.
"Lily, how about you take a nap okay?" I said.
"Okay grandma!" She said.
I walked upstairs with a basket of laundry, I was worried how their fighting was affecting Lily...
It was Mason's birthday that night!
He didn't change much! Still looked like the Mason I loved! My baby boy was now an adult!
Amy's birthday also came after...
I decided to take her out to a club, I wanted to audition for a gig there anyway so I figured it would take her mind off things.
She had a few drinks and got a little crazy, but maybe that's what she needed...
My cell phone rang as I kept an eye on Amy.
"Hi Mom!" Mason said.
"Hi Mase!" I said.
"Is Amy with you?" He asked.
"Yeah... She's just talking to...someone..." I said.
"Can you tell her I'm sorry, can you tell her I want to work things out?" He asked.
"Sure Mason." I said.
"Thanks mom." He said.
I heard Amy laugh in a flirty way.
Things moved quickly after that... He hugged her! And not in a "we're just friends" way!
SNAP!
I gasped with my eyes wide, I looked at the girl with the camera.
"NO! Please, no! She had too much to drink!" I begged.
She just smiled and walked away.
Mason.
"AMY!" I yelled.
I grabbed her by the arm and whipped her around.
"We are going home!" I hissed.
"You might be, but I'm staying here with Reggie!" She said.
"Think about Mason Amy! That girl just got a picture of you two hugging! What would this do to Mason?!" I begged.
"He should have thought about that all those late nights I waited up for him, all those long hours during the day!" She hissed.
"...And what about Lily?" I asked.
She stopped, "..Sh-She is too young to understand..."
"She isn't Amy! And this will ruin her! This will hurt her so much!" I yelled.
"You have no right to tell me what to do! Who says I was doing anything with Reggie anyway?!" She screamed.
"You want to cheat on Mason and you know it! You're just mad I stopped you!" I said.
SLAP!
I gasped for air as I touched my cheek which stung from the sudden blow to it.
"If you hurt him, if you break my babys heart, you better hope to god I never see you again." I whispered away.
She followed close behind me home, Mason was outside.
"Amy-" Mason said.
"Can you believe your mother?!" She started.
She didn't tell him the truth, not even close. Apparently I decided that I was going to attack her for no reason and the paparazzi saw.
I shook my head going inside.
I couldn't believe her! Sure it was sneaky following her but I needed to know if she was really going to move in this direction!
I had to tell him. I had to tell Reggie that she wasn't a single girl, she wasn't his to take.
"Natalie! Are you ready to do your show tonight?!" He asked.
"Yeah, Reggie, listen. About Amy." I said.
"She's great isn't she?!" He beamed.
"No-I mean, yeah. But you see, she isn't being truthful. She isn't who you think she is." I said.
I told him everything, but he didn't believe me. He didn't care, he said Mason obviously wasn't making her happy anymore and he could.
"And now, welcome to the stage, Natalie!" The anouncer said.
I walked up on stage leaving everything behind me, I looked at the audience before starting to sing.
I decided to keep my mouth shut when Mason came upstairs the next morning. His smile was huge like every morning.
"How was the show?!" He asked.
I told him everything, leaving out the majority of the important parts.
"Hey look at how good Ally's garden is coming!" Mason asked going to the window.
I watched him smiling down at his sisters garden, he was going to be crushed soon.. His whole world was going to crash hard and there wasn't anything I could do to stop it...
