What would sims say?

I was pondering whether to put this in general discussion or the babble board.  The question is...what do you think sims would say if they could talk in english and could actually realize what they were doing?  I mean, if they could just look up at you out of the computer and make a comment, what do you think they would say?  What do you think they would say if they knew what we were doing to them for what reasons?  Like, in dynastys, if they knew they were going to be a skill slave?  Or how happy they would be if they knew that I was going to use cheats to build them a giant mansion?  I know what my sim teenagers would say...they would say things were not supposed to say on here because a lot of times when they become teenagers I just kill off their moms.  In general, if sims could talk, what do you think they wold say?

In my current immortal dynasty Here. I speak to my Sims all the time and they answer me back. Some of them are quite happy to be skill slaves so long as I buy them something nice from buymode  . Actually the invention of the big Voice in the sky started when I wrote my first dynasty The Smiths.

As well as imaging what they would say to me I imagine the conversations they have with each other. By the way it is not just for story purposes I really do imagine them talking to me.

I was thinking I would love to know what that jerk Jared said to my sim that made her put a paper sack over her head.

As for what they say to us.  "Did you ever stop to think whether or not I wanted to have this career?  No, of course not, after all this is just my life you are playing, so why should I have any sayso in what happens to me!"

Or "  You want to marry me to WHO?!  I am supposed to spend the rest of my short life with someone and you had to pick this sim for me?  Boy, do I feel the love here!"

I don't think they need merging. The Simlish dictionary thread is about words heard in Simlish and what they mean this thread is about what we as players imagine our Sims would say about a given situation.

Of course if any other mod feels the need to merge the threads then that is fine but I personally do not see the need.

I agree, I think it is fine too.  I do know one thing, we may not want to know what our sims say sometimes, lol.  I would imagine that some of the things we have our sims do, that if they could talk, we would get an earful.

I've always been a little curious about what it is my Mean Spirited sims say when they insult another sims family and they don't know anyone in that family.

"I may not know who you people are, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say that you and your family are smelly!"

I've just always wanted to know.

Whenever my sims converse, I keep a running dialog in my head as to WHT, I think they are talking about. I watch their moodlets and reactions.
For instance, incompatible traits: "What! Your a moron, how can you hate art!"
Can't get into the thoughts for flirting and romantic interests here.

Some things I think my Sims would say:

"Hey! I want the blue car, not the red one!"

"Who gives you the right to pick my career? My lifetime wish is to become a doctor, not a stupid spa receptionist!"

"I don't want to do my homework!"

And many other complaints. I tend not to give my Sims what they want.
