Problem: Crashes After Installing Showtime
« on: May 19, 2012, 03:14:55 AM »
Hi! I have a big problem with my TS3. I just installed Showtime but since then the game stopped working properly. The game suddenly crashes, the screen suddenly blinks and the game closes and sometimes the game would hang that causes my PC to automatically reboot. I really need help. I don't know where should I start. I tried to check the software compatibility but nothing comes out. What's more confusing is that there is no notification that pops out of my PC 'cause usually there should be right.  Thank you very much.

Welcome to our Forum.

I'm moving this to the Technical Help thread because it's not so much about problems playing Showtime.

First things first, does your system meet the system requirements for the game? I'm assuming it does anyway, but just to be safe, check here. Also, are you patched up and do you use any mods?

If it does meet them, I suggest you try a factory reset first to clean up your game and literally make it good as new. For instructions on how to do that click here.

Hope that helps, do report back if it doesn't. :)

I had this issue when I first installed Showtime. Doing a factory reset, as Fez suggested, solved all my problems.
