Custom music only works sometimes.
« on: May 18, 2012, 05:28:14 PM »
Hello. Any idea why my custom music only works randomly? I turn on the radio and sometimes no sound comes out of it, so I have to turn it off and turn it on again to check if it'll work this time, and sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, so I have to keep trying. It seems that it has nothing to do with skipping tracks, it's just random. I wish I could make it work full time because I enjoy listening to my songs while my sims are sleeping, so it's not that boring to wait for them to wake up.

This has been going on for quite some time.  When it first started happening in my game, like yours, it was random.  I did everything, from buying new stereo's, deleting and buying again.  It happened mostly on the custom station where I had put some of my own songs from my folder.   It has been so long ago, I can't remember the patch that seemed to fix it, for a while at least.  I don't think I have had too much trouble so far, every once in a while it will happen.  I don't think that there is a fix, but just know, it is the game and I don't really think it has much to do with the computer. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Uh oh, that's bad news! I was hoping it was a problem with the size or whatever of my mp3, so I could fix it. Thanks, Saltypaws!
