Extra Neighborhoods Installation Order?

Hi,

I am new and will be receiving my new Sims 3 game with pets this week (YAY...Excited).  I am aware that Sims 1 & 2 both had to be installed in specific order.  Thanks to Carl's site here I have the order of the Sims 3 releases to install them.  However, in looking at Sims 3 I have found three new neighborhoods that can be purchased for Sims 3; those being Hidden Springs, Barnacle Bay and Lunar Lakes.  Where do these fit into the order of installation?

They are all playable without any expansion packs.

I don't think there is an order of installation for the towns. Install the base game, then install any EPs and SPs you have in order of release date (WA > HELS > AMB > FLS > LN > OS > GEN > TLS > PETS > MSS > ST) and then install any store content/custom content and this includes the towns. As for the towns themselves, I don't think there is an order of installation, but if there is then it will be release date, so: Riverview, Barnacle Bay, Hidden Springs and then Lunar Lakes.

Does it work the same as it did in TS1 and TS2 in that you run the game using the latest installed disk?

It runs on the most recently released disk that you have installed.  There are time when people install the expansion and stuff packs in random order, but it always has to be the most recent release that plays the game.
