Incense, Bananas and Carrots

Hi there!

I wasn't too sure if anyone had noticed anything about the incense, but the Egyptian incense burner gives sims a +10 moodlet for mellowness, the Chinese burner gives +10 moodlet toward mind synergy (I always have my sims skill gain with this incense, it seems to me it speeds that up.  I could be mistaken), and the French burner gives a +10 moodlet for "love is in the air".  Whether it does more that just up the happiness is your best guess, but I'm running my sim through some trials to see if the burners effect more than mood.

Also, we can plant banana trees (rare) and carrots (rare), but so far, only from produce from the markets (I'm pretty sure in town, I can't remember offhand where I got them).  I haven't had any rare seeds turn into these trees/plants yet.

Oh yeah, and sims seem to "learn skills faster" on nicer equipment, like a more expensive stove.  My sim just got the moodlet for "fast learner" while cooking without the lifetime reward.

Thank you for sharing your information.  We have a topic about incense that you may enjoy.  I'm sure there's also information about the new carrot and banana plants on the Showtime board. 

There is a stove that specifically lets your Sim learn cooking faster.  It's not the most expensive in the base game, but it does have that feature.

Banana's are from Showtime. Carrots are from Pets.
And the Stove that lets your Sim learn Cooking faster is the TriForge one.
