The Bitter with the SweetJasmine: "What? You didn't tell me you were married! I'm outta here!"
Frustrated by the sudden twist of fate that the man she loved was already married, Jasmine returned home. It was time for a good pout, and maybe some ice cream.
Unfortunately, her day wasn't about to get any better.
Jasmine: Aunt Miya, nooo!
Ut oh, quickly! Someone catch Fred before he--
Too late. Never mind.
Only a few minutes later, Grim came back for the dog.
Wait, dog? What dog? We don't have a--wait, you mean this stray just wandered into our yard to die? Great.
Hey, hey! What are you doing? Stop doing that! Don't you even think about it, Grim!
Poor Fred, he's already passed out three times today.
Wait, Grim, I thought we talked about this!
Aw, man!
*sigh*
Jasmine, there isn't much time left. Miya and Josie were both younger than Herbert. Maybe you should just, I dunno, patch things up with Clark?
Jasmine: *throws up yet another romantic wish for Clark Abbott*
Awesome, let's get to it then.
Jasmine: "I know I just broke up with you last night, but--what do ya say we give this another shot, eh?"
Jasmine: "Wait, let's do more than just give it another shot!"
Jasmine: "Marry me, Clark!"
Clark: "Yay! Yes! Yes!"
Jasmine: "I'm so happy!
P.S. I'm insane, soon to be immortal, and live with my parents. I'll pick you up for the wedding tomorrow!"
Jasmine: "We'll have a nice, romantic wedding at the Zen Garden. You'll love it Clark!"
Clark: "Awesome, we can celebrate my birthday while we're there!"
Jasmine: "Birthday?"
Yeesh, an Elder! What do you think, Jasmine? Still want to get married?
Jasmine: *looks at Clark with googly eyes*
Well, okay then!
Clark: "Jasmine, will you still marry me even though I'm old?"
Jasmine: "Of course I will, my hunky brown bear!"
Hey, why is no one paying attention? We've got a
wedding going on here, people!
I'd forgotten how no one pays attention to the wedding if it's not under an arch. Herbert works on his snake charming while Terry sobs and Fred--cowers over the idea of clean laundry? Really, Fred. I'd be much more frightened about the dirty laundry.
Oblivious to everything else, Jasmine and Clark seal their vows with a kiss. With perfect timing, the stadium lights stream through the sky the moment their lips touch.
Some things are just meant to be.
