Congratulations the vacation days have me stumped though. Can't wait to see how you did it.

Yeah, me too. Lol.

I will not be participating in this one, drift, if you care to enlighten me with a PM. ;)

Town days -- 5
Vacation days -- 0

Total days -- 5

I told Metro about my results and gonna post it last day, afraid it will give others hints at strategy.  Guess doesn't matter now :)

I think I have an idea how you did it in five days but it will be interesting to see if I am right. Still not got a clue how anyone can have no vacation days.

Oh, my gosh. Hahaha. drift, your view from the top did not quite last an hour. :) Well done, Nutella. You guys are amazing. Good thing I am passing on this one because I would end up embarrassing myself I think.

On a different note, I am polishing up the next 2 Tournament rule sets. The longer event will be a copy of Max Moodlets from 2010. The other shorter event will be a brand new offering — you'll basically need to accomplish all Pets content as quickly as possible, so animal lovers — unite!

An animal challenge? You rock Metro! I am so in for that. Although it might be hard, as the first time I played pets, without cheats, my horse got taken away. I was trying my best but my sims had things to do and I had to keep an eye on them, so the horse got lonely. And it was a custom one too. Pinky-purple coats, golden or yellow mane and tail and pure black hooves with pink eyes. She looked awesome.

Heh in the strategy-explanation PM I sent you, I predicted that Nutella and/or another certain challenger would beat my score, and exactly that happened! (: Yep, 5 days is very possible.

Um... shh, someone else might get 5 too :D

Yup, I knew 5 was possible but didn't have enough luck in one instance. How on earth you get 0 travel days I'll never know. I've finished, so if someone would please please please PM me and let me know before I die of curiosity?!

Edit: I think I finally googled myself into oblivion, but FOUND what it must be! I'm kicking myself for not checking it in the first place!

Absolutely fascinating strategy from Nutella and drift. Wowza. I just got PMs from both of them.

I'd also like to know how you managed 0 travel days, and I'm not entering, so could someone please tell me? ;) I'm really curious now.

Edit: Wait, I actually think I figured it out. And if it's what I think it is, it's very clever strategy.

Edit2: Haha, I know it. What a cool trick!

Guys, I'd really rather not have these requests to be told about the tricks of the top competitors. All will be revealed very, very soon. It's a very cool trick I did not know about myself, but I had to know simply because I have to vouch for a score being valid. And they most certainly are. So, all is good.

I couldn't do the challenge anyway because I'm missing an expansion pack. But, I now know what it is, it's just something I've never even entertained doing in my game before since I usually play for stories, not challenges.

This one seems amazing, too bad I wont have the time to complete it, but I'll be sure to try it on my own some other time, it looks difficult.

I figured out the strategy but haven't had time to play at all this last week. I have one day off this week so I'll see if I can do it. My back-of-the-envelope calculations are at 6 days at a minimum. Hmmm.

Wow!  I can't wait to hear the tricks too.

In my first test file I was a good 7 weeks along and I didn't even have pets at the time.  By the time I bought pets I figured out a few things.   But then trying to get a unicorn and a blue ghost pet on day one of owning pets was laughable.  Weeks again.

I love how much we all learn from these challenges.  Thanks again Metro and all of you talented simmers.
