Sorry if this was unclear before, but I just got a PM on the Hybrid lifestate from someone wondering if it needed to indeed be an offspring. Yes it does. I clarified the rule...

  • The challenge ends when your household consists of: a Sim (normal life state), a Ghost, a Mummy, a Simbot, a Vampire, an Imaginary Friend, a Genie, an offspring Hybrid (parents must be two different life states** above — i.e. a Mummy and a Ghost baby), a blue Ghost Pet, and a Unicorn.

I would love to see a family portrait of everyone's households once the challenge is done.  It be fun to see!

Done. Town days 6, Travel days 2. I did a surprising amount of research for this one, learnt a lot, and had lots of fun!

Well done Chuckles I know exactly how you did it. I knew my score would be easily beat and I could have got a shorter time if I had been able to try again. But you know the rules once you start that is it.
I will tell you where I went wrong when we are able to share stratagy.

I have you to thank really :) I read your results post wrong the first time, and it got me thinking how on earth you could manage just 4 town days.

This is the part of a challenge that always kills me. Seeing other people "get the secret" and I am so lost! I need to think, think, think more!

Another amazing effort, Chuckles. Well done!

I may not have the time for this event, BUT I am going for the gold in the consignment store event!

Town days - 29
Vacation - 7
Total - 36

I've only recently acquired Pets and Showtime so I think I needed a LOT more practice than I got. I definitely didn't stumble upon the tricks this time  ;)

I am really annoyed because I really wanted to do this challenge and I was very much looking forward to it, then my computer decides to stop working. Took it to get it fixed, was told by the store that it would be Sunday that I would get it back phone call on Saturday and was told there is more wrong with it than originally thought so won't get it back until the 17th the day after this challenge finishes :(

I'm done. Game-time wise this is probably the shortest challenge I've ever played. Nevertheless, picking up the nuances of the non-standard life states and how to 'rush' them as rapidly as possible was fun. I normally play only with regular Sims and the odd simbot or IF, so yup!
