Haha. That's what I love to hear. And here's a little teaser for everyone—if you like the idea of this event — then just think bigger and involving multiple neighborhoods/generations for something I have yet to unveil.

Do I hear a spoiler for a challenge that will take longer then a dynasty? :o

The only one is that you would not be able to add a shelter adopted pet since that is banned. Otherwise, no restrictions.

Do we have to live on a specific lot I only ask because of this from the rules:

If the town you want to play in does not have an empty lot to build a home, then you are free to use Edit Town to make that happen. Additionally, you may also use Edit Town to place the Equestrian Center.

No, you do not need to live on a specific lot. That rule came about because a player who likes Bridgeport brought to my attention the fact that there was no empty lots with all expansions installed.

I know this is kind of last minute with the challenge starting on Monday, so I apologize but I have decided to eliminate the following rule —

  • Pets cannot be bought or adopted from the shelter. Adopting strays is fine.

What that means is it is simply up to the player to decide how they will acquire pets to fulfill the lifestates necessary to finish.

So, I'm slightly confused with the Pet. Is the requirement for a pet or a ghost pet?

No, the lifestate requirement has not changed — it's still a ghost pet. But, I am simply loosening up how you acquire any pet.

Also, has anyone had any issues in finding a unicorn in Bridgeport? I would appreciate knowing if someone could could find one.

I've been reading up on that - you either need a fishing spot and/or an equestrian centre - I haven't found a concrete answer on that yet.

Oh thank heavens Metro. You have saved me. I am seven weeks in in my practise still with no pet. Also thanks to Chuckles! I am in Bridgeport and have had no luck with unicorns, either. Off to install an equestrian centre! Thank you! *singing*

Hmmm...

Yeah, keep me posted folks. Plopping an Equestrian Center down is already allowed so let me know if this resolves the no unicorn problem.

So far, it's been two nights since the Equestrian Centre came to Bridgeport, and no unicorns yet. But I am keeping an eye out! I will keep you posted.
