I just installed mine and I like that there is more choice for males. I like some of the clothes but they are pretty much all the same.
Twinmum was this the store dress you were telling Fez about.

I really like all those new clothes they have but I probably won't be buying it for a while!

The textures on some of the clothes bother me. They look like CC textures, and not even good CC textures (if they did, I'd buy this thing in a heartbeat :P). Kind of a shame, because I like the concept and the thought of having more jeans.

I don't really like that anywhere near as much as the one on the stuff pack, but it's still very nice. :)

Not impressed with the furniture..
The chairs, lamps and the two box type coffee tables can be fully recolored, but the bed is stuck with that bedspread design and the table you can only recolor the legs  >:(

Twinmum  actually you can recolor that ugly bed! I found a mod that removes stencil ...

Sorry it's dark. I'll post or send you the link in pm if you wish. Shannon

Yes, but for those of us who would rather not use mods, the bedspread can't be changed.

True, I saw it the other day and thought "hmm wouldn't hurt to try it." LOL and it' really worked. The spreads not that bad it if you want to only use it with the younger crowds.

Just thought I would throw it out there. I respect those who choose not to use them. I have really backed off the amount of them I use since being here. Learning to do the challenges "clean" was hard, but fun. It keeps me on my toes. Ooopps, getting off topic.. sorry

That is what I was talking about. The only different in diesel is a little satchel.

I am so glad I took a peak at this thread. I was wondering why they are throwing out so many stuff packs to quickly. I am not sure if I really like all the content that is in it but I suppose that I will take anything that gives more clothes. I haven't bought it yet because I am still a bit hesitant. Kind of the way I feel about Barnacle Bay. But I suppose in the end I am an avid collector so I will end up buying it.

Perhaps as long as we have the trusty ability to recolor we can turn all the items into something nice. I am trying to refrain from using mods now that I've cleaned and re installed all the games. So I guess the bed will have to remain in that pattern.

Bottom line. Not all SP's and EP's are going to be loved by everyone. However I have so many ideas for my sims that I'm sure that the Diesel pack will be useful for something.

I once tried on a jump suit like that green one, only white. I tried it for laughs, but it actually looked stunning on.

It's possible (just my theory here) that some of the content looks like CC because maybe EA employed CC creators. I'm sure I saw some EA stuff already that was created by a former TSR Sims 2 creator. I remember news when Sims 3 was first released about EA being in cahoots with TSR, so that wouldn't surprise me.

That wouldn't surprise me. I used to have a subscription to TSR and my favorite creator over there was Cyclone Sue. She makes amazing build items. She's what I miss about not using third party CC any more.

Doesn't this look like the gypsy wagon coming out in SN?

I don't think I'll buy it until my game store starts discounting them. I got Showtime and MSS, but I'm still up on the fence about the KP pack and this one. Most of the stuff in it seems bland and plain, and if we can't recolor it I really don't see the point.

I'm including a copy of the image that RunAmokSims wanted to share but I removed the link above.  Remember guys, we allow talk about mods but linking to sites that don't adhere to the teen rating that we do is still against the rules.  Also, I don't see any mods on TSR which means it's a CC site so it's definitely against the rules.  We don't link to CC and we don't link to CC only sites.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that they were above a teen rating.
