I understand what you're saying about CC, and why some people don't like it. But maybe it might not look that way, as it does with the pictures if you don't have such high graphics. EA provided screenshots tend to be a bit exaggerated graphics wise anyways. I think the only way you'll have that look is if you have a meaty graphics card, one most suitable for more hardcore intense gaming, like World of Warcraft, or Diablo. But overall, the content looks great. It reminds me a lot of Apartment Life.

The fact that the KP one is being released round about the same time as this kinda strikes me as the KP one not being a "proper" stuff pack. Like Tom said, I think that's just the only place it fit?

I haven't seen an official release date for the Diesel Stuff.

Admittedly, this date is only tooken from that picture and it isn't official, but I'd think that if they have announced it now then it is coming around July-ish anyways.

It's release date is actually 13/7/12  It says on the main site.

This looks interesting, I'd have to see more screenshots before I decided to part with my money though. There's no way I'm going to buy it if I don't like any of the items.

I agree it is very quick after the Katy Perry items. But like xFexIsAFreakx said, I will not buy that one, but this SP looks interesting to me. It did want to make my collection complete though, but I am not spending my money on big candy like items. Knowing it isn't really a Stuff Pack makes me feel better about that choice

In Norway the release date is July 12, like you can see here.

I was actually hoping for another Expansion Pack around that time, but it seems we have to wait for that a little longer...

Aren't EPs released approximately three months after SPs? If so.. We should be expecting EP07 round about October-ish, and it's been leaked through patches that elves and witches shall appear, which fits rather well with October/November.. Just my own speculation though.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but the Sweet Treats one is listed under Stuff Packs on this page when you click the Add Ons tab.

Pam, I've looked and looked, but there are 18 pages at TS3 on KPST.  I do know I'm not the only one who saw it.

Comes out on the 13th of July for the UK, I believe.

About the whole "This is the next SP, the KP one is just a promotion" - I was just on Twitter and saw this tweeted by The Sims 3. Someone asked them why there were two SPs released in such a short period of time and they didn't mention anything about Sweet Treats not being a stuff pack? More or less the same has been said here where they have described it as a "Mega-Sized Stuff Pack".

EDIT: Turns out they're doing an entire questions/answers section but it's just pretty obvious stuff. Like, it'll be the same price as any normal SP, same amount of content, there'll be no new venues etc. If anything interesting comes up I'll be sure to mention.

EDIT, AGAIN: Bad news everyone, there will be no new hairs with this Stuff Pack! I am disappointed. Link for that.
