I like the title of the chapter too! I really like the picture of Kaelyn meditating in the flowers.

Thanks for the comments on the title!  ;D

I was actually worried the story would end here. Kaelyn got burned so many times, I was scared she would die in the tomb. Fire traps everywhere!

I haven't forgotten about this story, but I've been getting ahead in the Aley legacy. But I will have an update for this story by Tuesday. Yay for four-day weekends (Jewish holiday)!

It's actually impossible to die from the traps, so don't worry! :D Only the Mummy's Curse kills a sim. Great update!

Chapter 11: A New Family Member

After returning from their family vacation and getting some sleep, Kaelyn, Sienna and Carina went back to their normal routine. It felt good to be back "in the rut".

Kaelyn built a small room for her to practice her martial arts. Now, she could finally practice and master it at home instead of having to travel to Shang Simla.

It wasn't long before she achieved the blue belt.

Sienna was happy to be back at her sculpting station. She also purchased the Artisan Crafter lifetime reward, which helped her improve her sculptures. She pushed herself to level 7 of the sculptor career (Renaissance Sculptor).

And, of course, Carina was glad to be fishing in Sunset Valley. Shang Simla had beautiful fish, but there was still no place like home for fishing.

She even caught the most prized of all fish: the Deathfish. It sold for 300 simoleons, pushing Carina to level 4 of the angler career(Freshwater Freshman).

Carina didn't forget to make times to have a few dates with her boyfriend, Malcolm. If she didn't go fishing in the evening, she was out with him.

After a couple of days, another room was added to the house. But the room wasn't for Sienna, Carina or Kaelyn. The Vascas were getting a new family member.

A sweet little puppy named Beau!

Yay a puppy! Welcome Beau! I like the dojo (or how ever you spell it or call it) you made for Kaelyn.

Just wanted to say I haven't forgotten about the forum, DITV or my legacies. I've just been taking a break from TS3 and having fun with other things. I'm still here! ;D

Not too many pictures for this chapter. Little was going on and it really would've just been repetitive.
--------
Chapter 12: Puppy Love

Kaelyn began to really enjoy martial arts. Practicing in her little dojo was tiring, but it somehow gave her a rush. Almost like swift wind passing by her face. She was slowly losing interest in photography.

Eventually, Kaelyn chose to switch her lifetime wish from World Class Gallery to Physical Perfection. This would require her to max out the martial arts and athletic skills. She added a chin-up bar to her dojo to gain athleticism.

From time to time, little Beau wandered into the dojo and watched Kaelyn practice. Kaelyn never noticed the tiny pup, but he seemed content without her attention for that time.

After all, Beau got plenty of attention from her afterwards. His new family fawned over and spoiled him with attention.

Carina was getting very close to accomplishing her lifetime wish. She already acquired 11 pefect types of fish. Only two more were needed. If she achieved that, she would have her LTW done before her birthday and that would truly be something to celebrate!

Carina also accomplished one of the fishing skill challenges. She had caught twenty types of fish at least once, which made her an amateur ichthyologist.

A day later, Carina found out that her school was holding a prom on Tuesday night. She knew exactly who she wanted to take and invited him over to ask.

Malcolm graciously accepted Carina's invite to be his date to the prom. There was no other girl in Sunset Valley he'd want to go with.

Beau is so cute. I always thought that the fishing lifetime wish was one of the hardest and Carina almost completed it before becoming an adult!!!

That's skill to almost complete the fishing LTW before you're an adult!

Did you know that you can make metal sculptures at...level three or five? You just need scrap in her inventory, I believe it's 3 per sculpture.
Other than that, i'm enjoying this story.  :D
