Curious -- story progression Connor and Emma?

I have one of my sims in SV become married to Conner.  Later I checked and saw that he had a romantic interest  (has a heart under her name) with Emma Hatch.  Interesting also, her name was before my sims in the relationship bar.

Now am curious, in one of the bubbles he states  "confess to cheating" and I am figuring it was with Emma.

So, it made me wonder, did they in the story progression, if not bothered, end up with each other?

I'm not letting him confess as my sim is pregant and I don't want that stress.  I intend to destroy his relationship with Emma as I am figuring she is the one he cheated with.  Either way it has to end, espcially as for now I am going to keep them married.  Emma has dropped back a couple with my sim and then Jared before her, but still shows the heart.

If I don't let him confess does the option (to confess) leave or would it stay untill he does?  If it leaves I will ignore it, if it stays he can do so after the baby is born.

You must keep a close eye on Conner, one of my sims confess on his own and his wife broke up with him. If she decide to brake up on her own, you cannot cancel the action.

I had him go to Emma's home and she met him with open arms, ready for a hug.  I had him start an argument and there was a lessing in the relationship, but not enough to break up the romance.  I noticed a become friends option in the mean so I chose that and the romatic interest left his bar.

When he went home he no longer wanted to confess, so I am just ignoring it.  I am going to go with the aspect of a loveless marriage, they will stay together and raise the kids (they had a boy and I am wanting her to have a girl), but it doesn't matter if they are the "happily ever after" type of marriage. 
He does seem to be more romantic with my sim, but it took a long time to get them to a WhooHoo stage.

I'm not sure of who gets what if they do split up, but since they seem to get along otherwise they can just share the house and responsibilities of childrearing and live their own lives, she as an artist and he as an author (his LTW is to be a professional author). 

I still have the next generation to continue my family, and that was my main goal although I had hoped for a nice loving marriage.

When a couple breaks up; you have the option the let them remain living in the same house (they can still WooHoo). Or, you can move one out and they get some money to find another place and keep their car and personal inventory. The other option, my personal favorite if the sim offfended my sim, is to kick the offender out. When your sim kicks the offender out they get everything from that sim's personal inventory and the offender sim leaves penniliess and is placed somewhere in town by EA.

Janna I haven't play Connor much, is unflirty one of his traits perhaps?

His traits are Absent-minded, Bookworm, Unflirty, Loner and Good.

I had given her the traits of Adventurous, Brave, Lucky, Friendly and Love of Outdoors.  Plans had been to have her do some tomb raiding, as I haven't done of that yet.  Was working on visa points and had enough to give extra days. 
That is changing, I accidently clicked on the reward of Aclaimed Author so changed her lifetime wish to Illustratus Author as she has mastered the Artist part. 
 
They seem to be doing okay; I played them some last night and there will never be the hearts of romance with them, but at least they seem to be happy. 
I had him quit his job, as he wants to be an author and that lets him stay home and work on his writing.   Since he is a loner I figured it would affect his moods; less stress from work and increase from being alone to write. 
She has made enough simelons from collecting and painting that they don't have to worry about money. 
A girl will be born today and I am going with if he cheats again he will be tossed out; he can move back in with his brother or be in limbo.

You could try controlling Conner, going over to Emma's (if they don't live together) and under the mean interaction there is one that says 'Ask to be just Friends' or depending on the state of the relationship 'Break Up' and I believe that this will remove the heart (Romantic Interest) from the relationship panel.

Janna, when sims got married they don't have the hearts in the relationship panel. There will be a engament and wedding band. Sims who are romantic interests have the hearts. I'm sure Conner love your sim.

I did that and it worked (going over to Emma's and ask to be friends), I guess I have been spoiled with George Dean in Riverview.  I have a sim married to him right now and they are getting ready to have the fifth (or sixth) child.  I can't decide if I want it to be twins, or just a boy.  Twin boys would even it out to three of each  .  Both times with George and my sim they fell in love right off the bat.  The hearts, being eternal faithfui or whatever it is.  Lost one due to computer freezing and I hadn't saved. 
Anyhow, on Connor, I will just let them be a happy couple and not worry about being in love.  Sunset seems to be bad luck for me in the romance area.
