Farouk Rashid - NEVER at home!

So I discovered yet another insanely irritating game breaking bug. One of the Egypt adventures has you exploring Farouk Rashid's house except he's NEVER at home. Doing the resetsim Farouk Rashid cheat gets him home, for about 3 seconds and then he runs off to his stupid shop again.

Why on earth don't the so-called develpers at EA pull their thumbs out and actually, you know FIX the bugs instead of trying to fleece even more money out of people with utterly stupid and pointless "expansion" packs like the Katie Perry garbage?

If anyone has any good advice (other than reinstalling the whole game - as I have done this to attempt to fix the "No adventures in France" bug- (which didn't work)) I would be most grateful.

My sim was able to sneak into the house. Not sure if one of the patches took off that option.

I remember having this problem quite a long time ago.  What I did was move another family into the house.  Since Farouk & his wife were never home anyway, I didn't think they'd mind, and it was the only way I could think of to gain access.

You should work for EA, clearly you're smarter than the people that work there. My excuse is that I'm actually quite drunk (Sunday lunch with 1/2 a bottle of wine makes for an interesting Sims3 experience :p

Why thank you, Huge!  And I hope you still hold that opinion when the wine has worn off!

Unless his wife is also a merchant you can make a group with her and enter the house that way.
