I was just wondering if anybody knows the names of the family's that move in your town when you have story progression on?
-Sorry if this is in the wrong place, or if there's another thread about this.

I think any new families that move in have names that are randomly generated. So you might get the Wilson's moving in when playing one game but the Jones when you play another game.

I agree with Rachel. I've never seen the same families moving to town. It's always randomly generated.

Do these families always have children? I've never seen a family move in that's childless.

I just had a married couple with no children move into my game. But I've never seen a single Sim move in, and now that you mention it, they do usually seem to have kids.

I've just had 2 families move in both with a child and a toddler. One had a strange last name, something on the line of Neographate?

I always thought that townies that moved in were randomly generated, with different types of outfits and names. So they could have CC, Store content, EP and SP Content.

I often get newly married couples moving in. This is generally accompanied by an announcement in the newspaper that the couple in question just got married.
