Ghosts

I created a family, a mother and her daughter, who live in Riverview. Their traits are:

Mother:Clumsy, Family-Oriented, Light Sleeper, Frugal, Friendly

Daughter:Workaholic, Bookworm, Genius
            
The story is, that the mother took a job in the medical career because she needed to support her family. I moved them into Tish Cottage, a nice two bedroom house near the outskirts of Riverview. The reason why I'm asking for help: the house came with the resident ghost challenge, and I accepted. My plan was that I'd lock the door for anyone who wasn't from my household, and keep the ghosts outside. It worked fine for the first day, and I put a plate of autumn salad out on the outdoor table for them. But that night the daughter woke up to find a ghost in her room, possessing her play table! Also, at around four or five AM, two of the ghosts vanished into their tombstones, and haven't emerged ever since. Also, every single time I choose Tish cottage, I get the Resident Ghost Challenge. That brings to mind the following questions:

1. Can ghosts walk through walls?

2. Are these ghosts considered part of my household?

3. Is Tish Cottage bugged or rigged?

4. What happneded to the other two ghosts?

1. Yes, ghosts float through walls.

2. If you can control the ghosts, they are part of your household.  If not, then no.

3. I'm not aware of Tish Cottage being rigged.  I think probably once you accepted the ghost challenge at the beginning, it remained as part of that house.

4. The other two ghosts probably just went back to the grave. They may appear again later. How long has it been since they vanished? Typically, ghosts will appear around midnight and sometimes only every other night.

You should have gotten a visit from a ghostbuster when you first started playing.  Did that happen?
