Is the Grim Reaper still bugged if you download him from the Exchange?

I was browsing the internet and stumbled across a Grim Reaper on the exchange. I want to download him, but I remember that people were reporting that he could bug your game. I don't want to have any more bugs than I need to, so I want to ask - if I download him, is there still the chance he'll mess with my game?

I've had him in my game before, I didn't get bugged but it's annoying that only his everyday wear is well... "grim reapery"
