Congratulations Decima !  You did a great job with your park . It looks so peaceful. I'm sure sims from all around would want to spend the whole day there and enjoy themselves.  :)        Everyone did a great job on their entries. It was a fun contest.

Comments or feedback would be appreciated for my entry.

Thanks both!  :D

Ricalyn - I loved your entrance gate thingies. I don't recognise the pillars, which are they? I'm probably just being blind. I just really like them though and would like to use them myself! I also like your shed thing where the BBQs are. Very good idea. The amount of times I've had trouble with BBQ flames going out because of a sudden gust of wind, I need to build one of your shed things in real life! The only criticism I can think of is that it doesn't have any ponds or swimming pools. But I don't really think it matters, yours is more of an inner city park, it would be great in the centre of town for sims to stop off at on the way back from the grocery store or wherever.  :D

Ladybug -  yours was one of my favourites, it really looks like a lot of parks I know in real life. Loads of space for kids and pets to run around in! I thought the screen shots you took were very good as well.

Ladybug - your park seems like the perfect place to relax on a weekend. I also really liked how inviting it seems from above. I often look over my town in mapview and your park would stand out and make me remember to go there with my sims.

Decima - As soon as I saw your park I know it was a strong contender. It was so stylish with those clean lines. Great job with the colour scheme, the dark green made it really pop.

Ricalyn - Your park seems very functional, and easy to use.  Also, You managed to get almost everything you could into one park. If I want to remodel a world with less community lots, your park is the one I would use.

I'd love some comments as well.

Also, I just want to add that this build was so much fun! I modeled my park after some famous play-parks where I'm from and I really like to see all this diversity when it comes to community lots. I think I enjoy the community lot challenges the most, regardless of if I'm joining in or not.

I'm open for comments, always am! I was a little stuck for my entry and I was getting fed up of not getting it how I wanted, so I was going to go and make a new game with an inventor just for fun but I accidentally selected Appaloosa Plains when I meant to pick Sunset Valley and suddenly I got my inspiration to build my Park.

Ladybug, You're Park had everything that was needed for every Sim that would visit a Park. I really liked how it felt like Parks I know and have been too with all those types of trees and it just felt right. I think to improve slightly you could mix another type of grass terrain into the base grass terrain just to mix it up a bit.  ;)

Decima, Congratulations on winning! I knew you would with that Park, it has had a lot of thought and design going into it and it really works. Again I think that to improve you should try mixing in another grass terrain paint, I mainly say this because in Parks you often don't get the same grass coverage all over, some bits grow faster and differently to other patches etc.  :)

Saltpastillen, I liked your entry as well. The one part that felt lacking to me was the arrangement of trees: they felt clustered and not very open. I think I would have preferred it if you had spread the trees out, put some different varieties in etc.

Rica, your Park had everything as well and I really liked it. I thought that your Park looked like it belonged to a community of people who all know each other and make an effort to make their area look good and to have fun. Yet at the same time as having that it felt very professional and it looked great. Again I think some more grass terrain paints mixed in might have been an improvement.  :)

Ricalynn , I though your Park was very nice. I really liked your building and entrances. You have everything a sim would want to do at a park. Very well done!

Neashaleigh, Your park is also very nicely done. Your landscaping is always spectacular . The park looks like it would give a very   warm feeling and feel welcome.

samoht, Well, what can I possibly say about your park except Awesome. My sim wants to go there this afternoon and spend the rest of the day there socializing. Your landscaping is just outstanding as usual. Great job!

I'm anxious to place all these beautiful parks in different towns.  :)

Thanks Ladybug :D I think I spent so much on the landscaping that I didn't leave enough for some decent furnishings, but maybe next time I'll do better :)

Sorry, I deleted my screenshots from the gallery so there are no pictures of my build.  I will try to fix this as soon as possible. :-\
