I've been playing with the set for a little while now and I'm very pleased with the look of the furniture and most of all with the tablet! My handy sim's been raising her gardening skill while upgrading her sprinklers to autowater. Double the pleasure double the fun!  I think for 750 Simoleons that it's a very good deal it puts it in the "accessible" range even for Sims that don't have a ton of money.

I had the strongest willpower and I just said no... Until I read this thread! So now I own it too. Had trouble installing it though. Maybe it's just me. Or my wifi.

I've just tried out the new sim 'tablet' and I've learned level 5 necter in 1 sim day! My sim can write her books and learn another skill!

The tablet will be especially great for those dynasties that require a spouse to learn multiple skills, they can work on one of them while learning another from the tablet...

I'm very frugal when it comes to simpoints.. I can't decide whether to buy this first and use the tablet to my advantage in my dynasty, or just wait till gen 3 is born which is when I'd really need the set because that's when I'll begin using the furniture... Gen 2 is currently a toddler.

I think I'll wait it out, unfortunately.

Erm.. I'll probably change my mind. I've already changed it about 70 times today.

Fez, I think the tablet is a good buy! I can't stop using it in my game.

Does anybody think that one of the games on the tablet looks alot like The Sims social?

For those thinking about this for a dynasty, there are 10 skills you can build with the tablet. Writing, gardening, cooking, guitar, logic, charisma, photography, nectaring, handiness and fishing. Great skills for a spouse or sibling to learn. You can read skill books on the tablet, but you can't listen to a podcast at the same time.

Children can also listen to Tabcasts. They have a choice between Logic, Fishing, Writing and Photography. I didn't think children could learn photography?

 It's such a laugh watching all three adults in my Dynasty messing around on their tablets. Colour-coded and everything.  I've got Tris boosting his charisma, his wife doing her photography even though I probably won't even do photographs... Lol. His wifes best friend who moved in listens to a cooking padcast whilst weeding the garden.

Seriously reccommend this to everyone, one of the best things so far in the store! It has a moodlet which tells you pretty much how long till your Sim levels up when they listen to a podcast. If say Tris has 5Hour timer on his moodlet, at the end of that he levels up. Only irritating thing is that once you level up you have to reselect them to listen again.

Tristan Jade and his new tablet.  I love that you can recolour them, all my sims will now have these tablets! 



Here is a pic of my new livingroom for the Jades, ignore the elephant in the room (Lol). The sofas, end tables, the bust with the blindfold and the feathery purple thing are from this set as well, they really look elegant when recoloured as well.

Wowowowow!! It all looks so awesome! How much is the tablet in game? Affordable, like the baby swing? I can't wait for my simpoints.

The tablet costs 750 in game, in other words almost as much as a basic computer.
