Here it is Technophobe No More:)

Thankyou, Tom! I never knew it was called that. :)

*Browses around* I think that is actually an alright price. I was expecting around the 1,500 mark. I have other things to get like towns and stuff, but if I'm lucky I may be able to get simpoints for Christmas and I'll snatch this up. Maybe my birthday if I'm super duper lucky!

I love this picture featuring them. I wish I had the extra to go ahead and get this. I knew I shouldn't have gotten that daily deal the other day. :P

So.. The tablet.. As Tom asked, what does it do? If it has special features, it'd be classed as premium content, right? Does it just work like a laptop does or something? It looks very cool, either way.

Be careful if you want the tablet. The compilation does not include the tablet - just about everything else. I already have Gothique Living and Dining and Steampunk savvy, so I only got the new set. I'm going to play with the tablet tonight and see how it goes.

Ooh, I had more in my paypal account than I realized, so I lashed out and bought a bigger simpoint bundle. Just purchased this set and the Fiesta set. Time to play  ;D

Pay day is tomorrow. After paying off $50 off my credit card, I'll see about buying this set. As much as I love this set, I'd like to know how a PC Tablet is relevant to this set. ;D I'm not complaining about it, I think it's really funny.  :P

I like the tablet. Sims can work on two skills at once. I had my Sim listen to a padcast on gardening then got him on the treaddmill. His gardening and athletic skills went up together!

Best thing for me is that I think the wallpapers come with the set. Unless I am misreading the blog.

Doesn't appear to be any new wallpaper with this set, just objects.

Yeah, I'm loving the tablet. Now I can raise the photography skill without taking photographs! It appears that each podcast a sim listens to raises the skill in that area by 1 point. Finally we get multi-tasking!

The wallpaper isn't included in the set, but is just a recolour of patterns available through Create-A-Style.
Have a look at this pic, the two patterns on the left are how they appear in Create A Style. The two on the right are a quick recolour of those two patterns.
I do like that slim window though, I can see that one getting a lot of use.

THe set is called Technophobe-No-More and I see the link within the set that there is quite a lot of electronics in it. I think the Gothic theme is just a plus side to it, Lol. I mean really though the furniture can be something other than Gothic which is why I love it. Can't wait to try it out in my game!

lol, it's only the TV, computer and the tablet. Not sure I would call that quite a lot, but those three do go toether to match the title. It is a nice set though, and I think some of these pieces will recolour very nicely to fit in with a lot of decors.

That tablet is so awesome! I need it! I shall get it, just can't resist the two-skills-at-once thing. 8)

It's cool. When they listen to a padcast, they put an earpiece in (like a bluetooth phonr thing) and it pulses red while they listen.

You can also buy all skill books as well as just novels and such without having to go to the store. When you buy them, as well as getting a physical book in your inventory, you can read the novels on the tablet.
