Can you build on a platform?

Can you build a platform on top of a platform and then build a house on top of the combined platforms?

Do you mean a double layered foundation? If so, I imagine this would work with the PlaceFriezes On cheat. (Feel free to correct me if that isn't possible.

Alternately, you could raise a section of the ground and build the foundation starting from that point to add some extra height.

Actually, I do mean a platform on a platform. I saw a picture of a modern house that had a waaay lower foundation than the actual foundation tool. It had what looked like two platforms almost forming steps to the entrance of the house. They went the entire length of the front of the house. I'm going to try it with friezes and see if it will work. Thanks!

Ooh, you mean a real house lol. I thought you meant you saw a Sim house you saw and wanted to re-create the foundation thing.
