I always make a copy of my reward fridge using buydebug as soon as I obtain it.  I keep the copy in the family iventory, that way I have one for my holiday home when I build it and of course it's always there in case of emergency.

I also have a sim called Tom Kitchen in my sim library (a sim I got bored with!), he has one of those fridges, but absolutely no money, not a brass fathing and no other possesions.  He is my final defence against accidental loss of my precious fridge.  I've never used him, but he is there waiting to be merged and evicted should the need arise.

Oh, that is a good idea, Wai!  I switch between households often, and I had been making someone do the chef career just to get that fridge over and over again with each family.  I... I could have just done it once with a fridge holder sim in my library, and then merged him or her as needed!  I can't believe I never thought of that.   */smacks forehead*

But, I don't really need to now.  I was successful in installing Nona's mod.  Works great, two thumbs up!  The only difference between the one in my game is that it says the enviro score is something different, +10 maybe?  I forgot.  And it says hunger is +8.  Which I really don't understand.  When a sim eats a cooked, they get filled up everytime.  Does the hunger bar decay more slowly or something? Anyways, it doesn't matter, I'm just happy to have this mod.

Yes, in the catalog, the MinusOne Kelvin Fridge is listed at +8 Hunger and +6 Environment. This is false advertisement on EA's behalf. That screenshot was taken with Awesomemod installed, which is why it says +25 environment and doesn't list Hunger (it does say that on the post). I've been meaning to update that screenshot for a while now, so I guess I'll just do that later today.

In any case, the environment bonus for the fridge is 25. This fridge is not the same as other fridges and has it's own class in the game. The Hunger value in the Sims 3 only has an effect on the quality of the food, not how much hunger you gain from eating it. The MinusOne Kelvin Fridge doesn't actually need a Hunger value, because it uses another method to affect the quality of your food. I don't know why EA decided to put 8 and 6 in the catalog descriptions.

You're not the first person to ask about the hunger/environment score, so I think I'll post a little explanation of it on the blog :)

Thanks again Nona.  I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one confused by this.  I'm sorry if I missed the explaination in the mod description.  And I do believe that the enviro is +25, since I seen it take a room from "nicely decorated" to the highest decorated moodlet available, so a lower bonus just didn't seem right.
