My game is stuck

I've been burned out on sims for a while and today I finally loaded up one of my games today and it was completely stuck. I can pause and fast forward time and whatnot but it doens't change the time at all. (it always stays at 3:03 am) And I can't move around with the arrow keys or anything. Is it because I haven't played for a while and how can I fix this? Its one of my story files so it is really important that I get it working.

I have all EPs and SPs except for MS and TLS. I have no CC but I do have Twallan's Overwatch, ErrorTrap, and Saver mods though. I also tried the pre-Generations patch thing and I have done a factory reset recently but none of that seemed to help.

Did you try exiting the game and restarting?

Did you have the mods before you stopped playing or is this recent?  Have you waited for Overwatch to go through your town?  If it's the first time, Overwatch may be taking it's time since it has to go through every household and unstuck stims, turn off radios, delete cars all for the first time.   

How long do you wait before quitting the game when it's like this?  A save file will almost always start playing now when it comes out of loading screen, for some reason they don't stay paused anymore.   So my suggestion would be to pause the game and wait to see if you get any notifications in the right top corner.

Pam: I have done that and unfotunately the problem didn't change.

Ricalynn: They are kinda recent I guess. I thought I had them before but I didn't install them correctly so now they are actually installed. One time I did get the message about Overwatch (it said 34 cars deleted) but right after it came on I got the black screen of death and my game crashed. And I have waited around 15 minutes before I quit.

This happened to me I recently installed Mastercontroller> Story progress> Cheats> Overwatch and Portrait Panel, I returned to main menu and loaded again and it was fine until I threw a party, so I went to menu and loaded again and haven't had the problem since.

I'm sorry, but I'm not 100% sure what you're saying. I need to install Mastercontroller?

The Twallan's Overwatch is the problem. Maybe, u have an older mod version.
1.Solution: try to get the latest version of the mod.
2.Solution: delete the mod, and run the game without it.

No I meant It was fine after I returned to main menu and loaded the game again

Okay so I got the game working normaly (at least for me) and then a couple minutes in I got a screen prompting me to save but with a new title. The original was "A Triple Experience 2.0" and the one in prompted me to save was "A Triple Experience 2.1" Is this just part of Saver and will it happen constantly?

This is part of saver and it will happen however many minutes you set it for.  I think the default is 20 minutes.   It will do four files and then it might save over those four.  I'm not 100% on that because I don't use the mod much right now as the only game I play is an official challenge file.

That is the tuning default for the mod, correct.  Users can change the number of saves it rotates through via the in-game options.
