Chapter Seven:Things have kept going great for us, Petre and I keep finding and selling rocks, gems, and seeds anything we can basically that
will bring in extra income for the family. It all goes quite nicely with the promotions and cash bonuses from. Plus, tonight Petre
has a seminar to give at the Anthony Cross Memorial Hospital for some extra simoleons as well.
Plus our garden is becoming a bigger success and regularly now producing too much food for us and we have to sell off the excess
for even more profit, thanks to the garden we've really been able to furnish our bird's nest living room quite nicely.
Deter has become extremely attached to a doll that neither one of us knows where it came from, when we asked him he says it
just
"showed up" one day. All we know is that his name is
"Bobo" and Deter takes it everywhere and plays with it constantly.
Oh and the second pregnancy has been going on quite nicely as well, as you can see I'm quite a bigger and I think about ready to burst.
Playing the new video game we bought has really helped me ignore some of the discomfort that kept we awake when I was pregnant
with Deter.
Even though I've been a bit worried with his obsession with Bobo, he's been doing great in school and holds an A average right now...
... He still takes Bobo with him to school and plays with him when waiting for the bus, recess, etc... Petre says that it's a phase and he'll
grow out of it when he hits his teens years and the hormones kick in, so I'll be patient and see what happens.
Deter has been looking forward to today, it's his big day going to town alone. He has a school assignment to write a report on the ins
and outs of Galactic Groceries Supermarket...
Afterwards he called to see if he could go nextdoor and play at the local playground a bit, the manager said he behaved perfectly at the
grocery store, so I figured it was a nice reward... plus he left Bobo at home so I figured it would be good for him to make new friends
at the park.
Deter decided to finish his homework before it got too dark and was home just in time for dinner, Stu Surprise, his favorite!
During dinner all Deter could talk about was the supermarket and his new friend Sheldon he meet at the park, they were going to hangout
on the class field trip to Moon's Shadow Graveyard tomorrow. It had been a long day for everyone and we all were tired, but didn't get much
sleep...
...since the new baby decided it was time to make an appearance.
As excited as he was, we decided that it would be best for Deter to stay home... after all it was a school night and the new family car couldn't
fit all of us.
It was an easy drive to the hospital as the entire town of Lunar Lakes was still fast asleep that late of night.
It's a girl!
We decided to name her, Deeta, and she's just perfect... looks almost exactly like Deter when he was a baby actually.
Originally, we were worried about Deter having to share his room with a new baby, but things have been going smoothly
even though it is a tight squeeze. We've decided the next renovation should be increasing the size of this room.
Things have been a bit hectic having a baby in the house again and thank goodness for Petre we have the hot tub as it gives
him a perfect oasis to wind down at the end of a busy day.
My oasis is cleaning, it calms me to make sure the house to clean and things are in their place.
It looks like Deter inherited my talent and love for art, he's pretty good actually and wants to take an art class downtown too.
Petre's Aunt Eugena sent Baby Deeta one of those creepy little dolls like Deter has, the box says it's name is Boinky... great, I
hope this doesn't turn into another Bobo situation.
Boy, time does sure seem to fly by when they're babies...
...and before we knew it, Deeta turned into a toddler. Doesn't she favor her older brother alot?
To be continued...
